A house is not a home without a cat
I’m a nurse and a cat lover! I can’t imagine a home without a cat! I’ve owned cats for over 15 years, and have also volunteered with cat shelters in the area, which includes feeding, playing, cleaning, and brushing cats. I have experience administering oral, otic, or optic medications to cats. I am a nurse, so I have some medical background knowledge and know basic information about disease processes if your cat has special needs. I won’t be completely lost if you have an epileptic or diabetic cat! But, I am not a vet nor a licensed vet tech, so I defer to your cat’s vet for all medical needs and treatments.

My goal is to be as non-disruptive as possible to your cats and home! It takes a lot of trust to let a stranger into your home and care for your furbabies. I’d never do anything to purposely jeopardize that trust. I’m detail oriented and will ensure everything stays neat and tidy, cleaning any messes that occur, and staying as nonintrusive as possible. And, of course, taking care of your furbabies, feeding, playing, socializing, and cleaning the litter box. My goal is to make your cat(s) as comfortable as possible! I know I’m a stranger entering their territory, so I’ll spend my time acclimating them to my presence, plying them with love and slow blinks. If they’re a bit aloof, that’s okay! I won’t push if they’d rather hide or watch from afar. Your cat calls the shots! My time will be spent feeding, cleaning any messes, playing, and lavishing your cat with pets.

Samantha did a great job looking after my cats while we were out of town. She made sure my elderly girls were well cared for, gave updates, and took cute pictures of them that helped ease our minds. I'll definitely look for Samantha again next time we are planning a trip!
Everything was perfect! What a sweet sitter! Even my very frightful kitty took to her right away which made me be at ease. All notes were followed and am so happy to have chosen her! Thank you for your care of my 3 smittens :)
Samantha was great with our four year old cat Nala. She sent us daily updates and pictures which was so good to see.. we missed our cat while on vacation but Samantha took great care of her!!

Schedule
I work full time as a nurse, so my hours of availability varies, but can drop in before/after work by request. I am most available weekends and holidays.
