Loving care when you're not there!
I LOVE dogs! I will treat yours just l like he/she is mine. My boyfriend and I live together and have a golden retriever who is very well socialized – she loves dogs, playing, and is very friendly. Since she is still young, she does have puppy energy and will be excited to see your dog. If your dog doesn't like other dogs, this will not be a good fit. Rover allows me to fill my deep-seated love for dogs while you feel safe knowing that your dog is in great, loving hands. I live in Portland and enjoy an active lifestyle -- I would love your dog to join me! I also enjoy those cozy nights in, doing nothing but cuddling on the couch :) I enjoy bringing dogs to the beach, breweries, the farmers market, and trails, such as Fore River, Quarry Run, and Presumscutt River trail. Since we live in such a dog friendly place, there are many things to do. I am very friendly, communicative, and enjoy providing you updates on what he or she has been up to.

Samantha did such a great job taking care of the dogs! Walking, snuggling, doing meds and generally helping them feel like they were home (they were!) and nothing had really changed (except I wasn't there). She sent me pictures of them so I could feel connected.
Samantha is the best. She’s the only sitter we use for overnights. She takes great care of our dogs and house. She also takes incredible photos of our dogs which make us happy when we are away. I cannot recommend her enough.

Schedule
I have a full time marketing job in Yarmouth. I go in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday -- work from home Monday and Friday.

Safety, trust & environment
I will take great care of your dog. If your pup needs to follow any sort of rules in your home (staying off furnature, sitting before they eat a meal, etc.), I am happy to learn those rules and continue intuiting them. If you request I say in your home, I will always leave your home just as clearn, or clearner, than when you left it.
Pets
A typical day
I enjoy bringing dogs to the beach, breweries, the farmers market, and walking trails, such as Fore River, Quarry Run, and Presumscutt River trail. I have plenty of experience with dogs who have anxiety, whether they are nervous of new people, other dogs, children, etc. There are other things we can do together to avoid these triggers, or if you prefer, we can just stay in! If you like your dog to follow certain rules, I am happy to learn them and continue instituting those rules.
