I’m not home from 9am-3pm on weekdays. So pups must be able to stay alone (or with my cat) at that time. House will be pet safe for them.

I have a fully fenced backyard, but I still monitor doggy’s while they are in the backyard. If you’d like your doggy to be crated at night and/or when left at home, please provide their own kennel/crate. I send photos and updates of your doggy to you, but you’re welcome to message to check in as much as you’d like. For safety precautions all collars are only worn while we are on a walk or in the backyard (I monitor the entire time). Collars are taken off at night and if I need to step out of the house for a bit.

I require at least 3 days notice before a booking, and I also require at least a 2 days notice before a meet and greet, a meet and greet before every new client is required. Please send doggy with these belongs: - A proper fitting harness (I do have 2 xs size harnesses in case harness is forgotten). - Collar with tags, unless their tags are attached to their harness, that’s fine too. - I have lots of different length leashes in case leash is forgotten. - I have plenty of toys, beds and blankets, but if doggy would be more comfortable with it’s own belongings, please send them with (their own toys, beds, and blankets will not be shared with other dogs, and are all washed between uses). - If they have a kennel/crate, please bring it along. Dogs are more comfortable having their own space to go to if they feel like they need to. - Must provide WRITTEN detailed instructions on feeding and medication amounts/doses and times of day to ensure medicine is given correctly and food at proper times and amounts. Dogs must be: - House broken (no pee pads). - Must be spayed or neutered. - Gentle with other dogs with medical issues, and dogs that are smaller. (My dog has issues with her back legs, so she is sore sometimes and can easily fall over or get pushed over by accident with playful dogs). - Dog must have no aggression or resource guarding (food, toys, bones, etc.). - Must be showing no signs or symptoms of Kennel Cough OR respiratory infection, even if mild, such as a runny nose or small cough, as it is highly contagious between dogs! (Please keep in mind that Kennel Cough is ALWAYS a potential risk during boarding and daycare at any facility or home, even at dog parks. Even with my own cleaning between clients, there is still always that small CHANCE of exposure, so clients must be aware of that, as the sitter CAN’T be held liable. That’s why I require all dogs to have the kennel cough vaccine.) -* Must be up to date on their vaccinations (I may ask too see vaccination certificate):* - Parvovirus - Distemper - Canine Hepatitis - Rabies - Kennel Cough - Flea AND tick prevention
A typical day
- I have a fenced yard where I can monitor at all times while they’re outside, there is room to run around and play. - There are a few steps on the deck, so if your doggy has trouble with stairs, I can carry them up and down them or there is a ramp in the backyard. - I live near a large field and extra long leashes (I require them to be on leash at all times while not being in a fenced area) which are great for running around. - I have tons of dog beds, blankets, plush toys, bully sticks, small tennis balls, rope toys, small frisbees, and petite size Greenie dental chews, but if you’d feel more comfortable sending with your dogs own bed, toys, and bones, etc., that’s okay. - Due to my own medical comdition, I may not always be able to take them on walk one day, but my backyard is plenty big enough for fetch and running around.

I DONT KNOW WHY MY CALENDAR SAYS SO MANY DAYS UNAVAILABLE. Please disregard thar, I am available most times. *ALL contact/messaging MUST be done through the app (no negotiation)* *Im not home from 9 am - 3 pm on weekdays* I have 13 years of experience with dogs of different ages, breeds, and different health conditions. I have a 5 year old Affenpinscher with Patellar Luxation and Pancreatitis. My dog in the past also had Dementia, a heart condition, and poor eyesight in her remaining eye. I’m able to give eye drops and oral medication if needed, please provide thorough written medication instructions. I’ve had volunteer experience in a dog salon and animal shelter. I’m able to bathe, dry, and brush your pups if needed (at no extra charge), if they require a special shampoo/conditioner please let me know, and send it with during their stay. I have an assortment of brushes and combs, so you don’t need to pack any, unless you’d prefer your pups to be brushed with their own brushes (your own brushes and combs will not be shared with other dogs). I am not a trainer, but have some experience with dog agility training, and basic obedience (sit, lay down, stay, leave it), so I can help maintain those cues during their stay. I have a 5 year old Affenpinscher, who loves making new doggy friends to play with. *NO PRIVATE bookings. ALL bookings MUST be made through the Rover website/app/company. ALL updates (photos and messages) during booking will be sent through the Rover app. as well. *I do all of my meet and greets at the same location, the Grand Trunk/Lauderdale off leash dog park, in the small dog fenced area. I require a meet and greet for ALL NEW clients. *Please provide veterinarian information as well, such as name/location/address and phone number. In case of emergency dogs will be taken to the nearest vet clinic.* I’m happy to provide reference upon request. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to send me a message. (:
Reviews

Left Koda with Samantha for second time and she is great. You can tell she really cares about dogs and treats them very well. Would highly recommend

Samantha provided great care for our mini schnauzer while we were away. We received daily updates about her activities and were do happy to see that that has made some new pet (& human) friends. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her services again! Thank you Samantha!

She was awesome and sent updates and pics. Would definitely use again. You can tell she loves dogs

Always easy to book with and truly cares about providing comfort for our dog and us. Provides updates regularly. Pretty sure Mojo misses all the attention when we take her home.
