*PUPS in MISSION to the TRI CITIES Hey, I'm Sam I have 15 years experience in the dog care industry but a lifetime of knowledge from owning my own dogs and animals since I was born. My career started by becoming a Certified Canadian Pet Stylish (dog groomer) right out of high school where I gained knowledge with certificates along with experience and hands on work along not only the best but national champions where I set myself in a job position with the president of our association. After years of working along side her and pain starting in my wrists from " LOVE OF BIG DOGS" (I thrive with "the bigger the better" dog in hikes/daycare/grooming) I was offered and took the job at a very known and busy daycare that also offered grooming (I was in heaven to say the least) but being exposed to all types of roles in the company my true passion was dog hiking and boarding. As I see it me being allowed to have full control, guardianship and basically being another parent (I'm Known as Aunty Sam) to you dog allows me to have ALLLL the dogs without "getting in trouble" for having all the dogs. After my father in law and father both becoming very ill and or passing I decided to leave my job and start my own company where it is all PAWSITIVE VIBES giving me more control of my schedule and the dogs I am taking. I have also worked with a rescue since 2015 and have since then fostered over 70 dogs and have my own rescue dog pack all of which coming from northern communities in Manitoba or Nunavut. My husband and I got the opportunity to purchase 4 acres in mission and we jumped at the chance. Having my uncle live with us along with our best friend who both also have years of dog experience and a dog each of their own, our house always has someone entertaining or snuggling with a pack of pups. Our property has 1 acre attached to the house being fully fenced, we have a fenced in pasture of fetch and pool times and the best part is we own 3 acres past the fence of pure un-touched forest which extends for acres behind we have access to adventuring in. All dogs that do boarding MUST be dog and human friendly along with not being at-risk by jumping a 4/5 foot fence. I am thankful Samantha took Ozzy last due to unfortunate circumstances but I personally wouldn’t rebook. My two main concerns were lack of communication and flexibility. Making arrangements to drop off and pick up were very difficult. The first day I went to drop off she was friendly and assured me of Ozzy’s stay updates with pictures. She introduced me to “Uncle Carl” who usually takes care of the dogs while she is away. That made me a little skeptical but I still gave it a shot. I was really disappointed with the lack of communication and picture updates. I texted few times to get an update but I didn’t get a reply till next day and only got pictures when I sent concerned texts multiple times. Overall, she was nice but not the right fit for my fur baby and I had a very stressful experience which pushed me to pick up Ozzy as soon as I got home instead of the evening as per our arrangements.
Sam is absolutely amazing! We have used her a few times and feel like our pup is basically at her second home when shes with sam, they treat our pup as one of there own and we appreciate that Sam is very accommodating and helpful! Highly recommend!

Schedule
I run my own dog hiking company and do dog boarding in my house. I own 4acres and with 4 adults living in the home we always have someone at home with the pets.

Safety, trust & environment
Depending on the routine a dog parent wants, I have room for dogs to be kenneled or the dogs just sleep around the house on dog beds or couches. I have a fully fenced yard for dog safety and security. I also do all dog feeding separately and if your dog is on raw don't worry I have the freezer space!
Pets
A typical day
I have a massive fenced in pasture for dogs to play. Summer time we have dog pools out for them and have buckets of balls and toys to play with. If your dog likes hiking I also own 3acres of forest we can go adventure through.
