I am a recent college graduate and I work 33 hours a week. I generally work Fri-Mon, alternating 8 hour shifts between 7am and 6:30, so I will try to make sure my calendar is as accurate as it can be. Transparency about what I can do and when I am available is important to me.

A typical day
I absolutely love to play with animals. In regards to dog walking, I am very patient and don't mind if the dog wants to stop and sniff every little thing they want! If they're happy, the owner is happy, I'm happy. I love to go on adventures with pets like hikes and the beach.

Pet care experience
I've been working at Little Dog Garden daycare and boarding since Feb 2022, and have extensive experience working with big and little dogs. At work, I monitor dogs playing, feed them meals, administer oral medication, and do enrichment activities. My first job was at Dioji: K-9 Resort & Athletic Club in summer 2021 and was trained on dog safety, health, and behavior. I monitored a yard of 20-40 dogs big & small as they played with each other and in the pool. I also fostered a pair of kittens where I administered medicine to them with every meal, as well as fostering a 8 week old puppy. I have two cats at home who I feed on a schedule. I have even pet-sat for my friends conure who loved to sit on my head as I did homework. I love all animals and grew up with many dogs and chickens.

Samantha is a fantastic sitter! She is an excellent communicator, and her updates always made me laugh and feel reassured while I was away. She went above and beyond by opening the window to let fresh air in during an uncharacteristically warm day and offering to sweep after some overly enthusiastic litter kicking from my cat. She also played with my cat and gave her treats/pets, depending on what mood Pepper was in. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone!

Samantha is so wonderful! Takes great care of my three kids, feed them, play with them and help me grab my deliveries of new peepads, and so considerate and communicate so well! Definitely best sitter!
Samantha did a great job, not only feeding my cat/seeing to her litter tray, but also spending quality play time with my cat, sending me detailed reports, getting in cat litter when I ran out. My cat really took to her.
