Daily water/food fill in the AM @ 0600. Blankets are on our couches and beds so they can enjoy the luxury of comfort. Blankets are washed every other week. Dinner is made around 6 which includes microwaved wet food with dry food mix and glucosamine to promote joint health because they are active dogs. They are also topped with cheese ;). Pups are let out every 4 hours if I'm home and every 8 hours if I work. Each time they go out, they get a treat to reward their Number 1 and 2's outside. They receive a bark box each month and baths once to twice a month. If it's beautiful on the weekend, we will go to the beach, JI park, or take a long walk on a trail. We have an open field near us, so they play with other dogs daily and chase the ball daily. They stay near without a problem. I watch my next-door neighbor's dog when needed and have watched several of my girlfriend's pups. They are treated just as well as my own when they stay, and sometimes they don't want to go home, especially if it's boat season ;).

Information Samantha T. would like to know about your pet

Are they nice with other dogs? What medication do they need? Would you be okay with them hanging out with my two dogs? What is something you think is important for me to know about your loved pup/s?

A typical day

600-walk & treat 10-bathroom break if they didn’t do #2 & treat 12-walk & treat (if I’m working from home) 1600- bathroom break or if need to run an errand if weather permits, they tag along. 1640-1700-play in the field for an hour a day. If it's the weekend, they get to play twice. If it's beautiful we will go to the beach, JI dog park, or walk a trail. If it’s my neighbors dog, I adjust my times to the needs of their pup. Dogs are more successful with routines and I understand that.

Nurses care for dogs too ;)

Pet care experience

I'm Samantha, a nurse leader, & a proud dog mom! I have Companions of my own and they bring so much joy to my life inside and outside of the daily grind of work. We tend to plan our hotel searches, vacation destinations, and weekend activities around our dogs. They get an average of one hour of playtime daily. If your pet is friendly, This is the perfect home for them to stay in while you are away for business or a vacation. Though I prefer to board at my place If you would like me to care for your puppy at your home, I can do that too. I work from home most of the time and can balance as needed. Let me know your preference, and we can make it work.

I can’t say enough great things about Samantha! I am so happy she was available to watch my pup because they had a blast! I received lots of pictures and videos, which I ended up looking forward to reading during my trip. Her own pups were so inviting and playful with Ivy, I just know Ivy will be ecstatic when she returns. They all became best buds! Definitely booking again when I go on my next vacation!

Samantha has been our number one go-to for dog sitting in the past 5 years. We have 2 small/medium French bulldogs who adore her. Samantha is knowledgeable about our breed and has been able to handle their high-maintenance ways. From giving medicine, wiping tushies, and the last minute "I'm stuck in traffic-can you help?" situations, Sam is always more than ready to come to the rescue. Having two dogs herself, she understands the importance of long walks, playtime, and positive vibes. She knows emergency vet locations and how to handle stressful scenarios, and is reliable when it comes to quick responses and taking phone calls. 10/10 highly recommend.

Samantha has alway grown up with animals! And she shows so much love to them! She has two dogs of her own and she see them as her children. I have seen her get up at 2:00 am to take one her babies to the emergency vet because something was not right. If that is not love then I do not what is! You couldn’t ask for a better person to take care of your family members while you are gone!
