I am a life-time dog lover with many years of experience caring for and training dogs. I have an educational background in nutrition and animal science that has provided me with the tools to promote a healthy lifestyle for both humans and their companion animals. I work in healthcare, but I am lucky enough to have the flexibility of working from home. I love to care for dogs, big or small, in my free time. I live an active lifestyle and love running and going for long walks around the neighborhood. I understand that each pet parent has their own set of rules and expectations for the care of their animal so communication with each client is very important to me. Whether your pet needs additional exercise, a mid-day potty break, or a few rounds of tug of war, I am here to help!

Safety, trust & environment
My biggest priority when caring for a dog or cat is their safety and comfort. My own dog is quite anxious and has many quirks and I’m sure your dog is the same. I want to make each dog feel as comfortable and secure as possible. To accomplish this, I would love to know any specific commands or preferences you have with your dog so that we can all have the best experience possible.

Sam watched out two cats over a long weekend without any issues. When
Samantha has been great with my dog Ellie! Ellie is afraid of everyone she meets, but she has seemed to warm up to Samantha quite well after just 2 walks. Samantha’s rover reports are very detailed and she makes sure to work on training exercises in addition to the walks and some playtime.
Samantha did an amazing job! Our trip was worry free knowing that our puppy was being well cared for!
My puppy had a great stay with Samantha and her puppy! Samantha did a great job communicating with us and letting us know our dog was doing while we were gone. He came home tired from all the playing he did! We would definitely bring our dog back to Samantha and would recommend her highly!
Great experience! My dog quickly fit in and seemed right at home. The sitter was very responsive when I texted for updates. I don't think my dog even missed me. Will do it again.

Schedule
I am currently working at the hospital Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. Otherwise, I am completely available in the early mornings, in the evenings, and during the weekend!
