Growing up on a small farm in Northern California, I was immersed in a world of diverse animals from an early age. My journey in animal care began with hands-on experience raising livestock and pets, complemented by agriculture-focused academics in middle and high school. I further honed my skills through extensive dog behavior and training courses, seminars, and specialized classes in canine anatomy and CPR. My family's involvement in breeding German Shepherds and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels provided invaluable experience in purebred dog care. This experience, coupled with a decade-long bond with my own beloved spaniel, deepened my understanding of both the joys and challenges of animal companionship. After a brief stint in the military, I returned to my true calling in animal care. I began as a professional dog bather, which reignited my passion for working with animals. This experience inspired me to pursue dog care as a full-time career. I've since become certified in dog and cat CPR and have extensively studied various breeds and their behaviors.
