Treating your pets like family!
Hi! My family just moved here last summer after being stationed all around the country with the Navy, our last station being Pearl Harbor, HI which is where I started my Rover business. After buying our home, doing some updates, and making up for lost time with our family and friends, I am happily ready to start pet sitting again! I look forward to giving your fur family a loving home while you're away. I have been caring for animals since I was a young girl, since about 8 years old. We have always had pets growing up and I have been passionate about walking, training, feeding, and loving on them ever since. We have always had dogs and cats, but my care experience extends to horses, pigs (used to have one), birds (my mom has two Macaws that I help out with), caged critters, and fish. I currently have three dogs: Ellie, who is 9 and our Catahoula Leopard Dog/Golden mix who was adopted while we were stationed in Connecticut, Zoey, who is 3 and is our small 20 ish pound mix who came from Guam through the Boonie Flight Project that I have fostered for, and Hank who is 11 months old that we adopted through Camp Chaos Puppy Rescue here in Missouri..not too sure on his breed, but we are thinking Border Collie, Brittany, and Beagle, among some others, he's our little big guy who just keeps getting bigger. Last year we unfortunately lost Rosko, our 16 1/2 year old Lab/Border Collie mix. If your pet needs medication, help moving around, special meal preparation, medication, etc, I am all too familiar with it; Not just from him but my mom's dogs/cats as well as other clients. One of my mom's dogs was a temporary diabetic from a bout of Pancreatitis and I assisted with checking his sugars and administering his insulin too. I also have three cats, Clara and Flynn who are also rescues and both 7 years old, and Tippi/Tip is our newest addition who we welcomed into our family November of ‘25 and she will be one in July.

Samantha did a great job communicating and letting us know how our pup did. Thank you!!

Samantha was so accommodating and welcoming to Bernie! She sent photos and I know Bernie had a great weekend. Thank you!

Samantha was amazing! She gave my diabetic cat his injectable meds with ease and kept him company at her drop-in visits with him. She stayed in contact with me while I was away with any concerns or updates so I knew my cat was safe and well cared for. Will be booking her again in the future!

Nellie's 2nd stay was great! She was eager to be at Samantha's house and was shown a lot of love there.

It was obvious that Nellie loved Samantha and her family, and they showed her a lot of love. I'm so excited that we have connected!

Samantha was great! Very responsive and provided pictures. Moose had a perfect second visit and seemed to fit right in 😊

Schedule
***Due to my pregnancy, I am not accepting any requests for cats until after January 2027. Thank you for your understanding.*** ***For drop-in visits in your home, they must be within the Washington, MO area*** ***For now, I can only accept two animals for boarding/doggy daycare if they come from the same household. Otherwise it is only one per day/night.*** I am currently a stay at home mom of a school aged child and a toddler who goes to speech therapy 3x/week. I am pretty flexible though, so let me know when you need to drop-off/pick-up and we’ll work it out!

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have three, very friendly/energetic dogs who would love friends to play with! For my cats, Clara keeps to herself mostly, Flynn is pretty sociable but keeps his distance from the dogs, and Tip has that kitten energy and gets lots of zoomies and she does try to play with the dogs sometimes. I have a nice large fenced in yard so your pups can romp and play safely outside if they’d like! Have a kitty? We have plenty of treats and toys to keep them happy! ***Zoey and Hank are my only dogs who are crate trained, and I am currently only accepting dogs who are crate trained as well since Ellie is not (gives her panic attacks). Please just bring their kennel and anything they may need to feel secure (favorite blanket, toy, etc). They wouldn’t be crated often as I limit my outings when I have a dog boarding with me, it’s just for safety purposes so they’re more calm in an unfamiliar environment, and so they aren’t left unattended with Ellie. She wouldn’t do anything but I think it’s a peace of mind all around to know nobody would get too rambunctious with play, etc while I’m not here, or get nervous and chew on something they shouldn’t.*** I enjoy taking my pups for occasional walks and if your dog is good on a leash (just no excessive pulling because I’ll have a stroller) I would be more than happy to walk yours!
Pets
A typical day
We can play at home, tug of war, fetch, etc, we can go for walks if they enjoy those and even car rides! Should you be okay with it, we can even go out for the occasional pup cup at Starbucks! When they’re all tuckered out, they can enjoy napping wherever they please, including the couch for some snuggles if that’s their thing!
