I'm a 40 yr old professional working at O'hare. Currently working 7-5 M-Th. I Love dogs of all sizes I have grown up with them. I have been dog Sitting since I was a teenager. I am experienced with medicine administration, excluding shots but I'd be open to learning if need be. I just recently leaned to administer IV fluids to my cat so I have a little experience now. I will send pictures daily as well. I love dog cuddling as well as cats. I prefer to sit in your home I feel it is less stressful on the animal having only a new person around instead of a stranger and a strange environment. I avoid doing FT watching at my house as my cat is very picky with the dogs he likes as he's getting older. I am used to living out of a suitcase I often go straight from one dog job to the next. I live in a 2 flat with my parents so my mom can help during the day if need be. My parents have a friendly dog and we have a large fenced yard and dog run. I currently have 1 cat which I inherited when my former Neighbor moved out of the county. I used to sit for them while they went on vacation for their numerous pets cats and dogs (5+). I do have a car so I can get around or take "kids" anywhere needed including the doggie beach. Most of my regular clients are all along the Northshore/burbs. **Please don't take the lack of current reviews as a bad sign I have a lot of regulars and get a bunch of jobs as referrals, I try and keep my calendar up to date if I'm unavailable it means I'm booked for another sitting job. **

I will come in and treat it just like I was you, so other then a new person their lives won't have to change to much. I will touch base asking any questions I may have and send pictures regularly.

Samantha was really wonderful looking after our 2 boys and the house while we were away for the holidays. She sent pictures and updates everyday, and didn't hesitate to text with a question, so I felt very comfortable that she was on top of everything. I will not hesitate to book Samantha again, and I know Sammy will look forward to snuggling with her!

Samantha was great. I love having her come and watch Milo. She's very communicative to everything that's happening and sends a ton of pictures. He loves her!
Samantha took care of my large pet crew while I traveled. She sent great pictures, and I never worried about their care. When I got home, I could tell the pets had a great time and were not stressed. I would recommend Samantha highly!

We are a repeat customer and completely trust Samantha with our English Bulldog. She stays over at the house and I have peace of mind that our house and dog are in great hands. When Samantha is working, her mom helps out by walking and visiting with our dog. Our dog can be a bit of a handful but Samantha handles her like a pro. She stays in communication and sends photos, too, which is always appreciated. Definitely recommend!

Schedule
I currently work full-time at O’Hare, so I’m typically gone during the day. My regular schedule is Monday–Thursday, but I can adjust my schedule as needed depending on your pet’s care requirements. Depending on where you live, there may also be an option for me to bring your pets to my mom’s home for doggy daycare. We have a dog run where they can spend as much time outside as they’d like. If you live close enough to my area, my mom may also be able to let them out in your yard during the day (although I would not be providing midday walks). When I’m caring for your pets, I want their routine to feel as normal and comfortable as possible. I’ll follow the routines and instructions you provide so that having a new person in their lives doesn’t disrupt them too much. I’ll also stay in touch, reach out with any questions, and send regular updates and pictures so you know how they’re doing.

- I absolutely love animals and enjoy keeping them active and engaged. I’m always happy to play fetch, tug-of-war, or whatever games they enjoy. I’m also willing to take them to a dog park, walk around the lake, or spend time playing in the yard. If your pets are used to sleeping in the bed and I’m staying overnight, I’m more than happy to let them sleep with me. I’m also happy to have them cuddle with me on the couch and, of course, provide plenty of belly rubs!
