I am a teacher. Until my summer ends, I am available almost daily. Once school starts I am available on weekends and week day evenings. During these times, I can do check ins, feedings, walks, play times, or overnights. I am comfortable with week day overnights, if your pet is able to be alone during my typical 8 hour work day.

I care for and approach all animals as gently and lovingly as I do for my own. I am comfortable with many styles of pet care including crating, walking, outdoor and indoor play, anxiety management, and more. A typical day
I meld to the needs of the pet I am with. If they require stimulation and play, I’m ready to play! If they need personal space, I am happy to honor that. If they need cuddles, my arms are open. I will meet the activity needs of you and your pet’s lifestyle.

About Me: I am a teacher, pet mom (to both dogs & cats!), and lover of all animals. I lead my life with empathy, which makes me an extremely patient and effective pet care provider. It is my mission to treat your babies with the same amount of love, respect, and compassion that I would hope somebody would give to my own. I believe that behavior management, if necessary, should always be rooted in consistency and positive redirections. My Experience: Beyond being a cat and dog mom, I have years of experience with long term cat and dog sitting. I am experienced and comfortable with any age of pet, from puppies/kittens to senior animals. I have some basic experience with training from my own pets. Sam is more than just an animal caretaker. She is a caring friend who looks out for others. Her background extends well beyond just caring for animals, but also for people, and children. She is the most trusted person I know, and any pet you have will receive the most intentional love and care they deserve. You’re not just hiring somebody to watch your animal, but to care for and love them, just as she does for her own. After all your animal isn’t just a pet in your home, they’re a part of your family, and Sam knows this, and she prioritizes it. She’s the first person I think of to help with anything. On top of this, she’s extremely detail oriented, follows any given schedule, and takes her responsibilities very seriously. I cannot recommend her enough. She is a born caretaker, and hiring her will be the best decision you can make for your furry friends.
There is nobody I could recommend more to be a Rover dog walker or pet sitter than Samantha. She loves animals in a way that is hard to put into words. She treats every pet she meets like they're her own and genuinely cares about their happiness and well-being. She takes amazing care of my two cats, her niece and nephew, and loves them just as much as she loves her own pets. I never have to worry when they're with her because I know they'll be spoiled with attention, affection, and the best care possible. Samantha is kind, patient, dependable, and someone I trust completely. She has a way of making animals feel comfortable, and they always seem to gravitate toward her. Whether your pet is playful, shy, older, or even a reptile, she'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for.
