We really appreciated Sam's willingness to watch our golden lab Allie, even though she didn't have a lot of notice. She sent us updates, photos, and videos while we were on our trip, and Allie appeared to very happy! Sam was also creative in dealing with Allie's quirk of taking some time to get used to noncarpeted floors. And Allie seemed to enjoy having some canine friends for the week. We've used kennels in the past, but I think Sam and her home and family are a better fit for Allie, so we plan to use her again.

Schedule
I am home nearly all day every day. My days include home/yard, cleaning, cooking, dog care; grooming, playtime. Our youngest son is a college Sophomore and home in the summers.

Safety, trust & environment
I have both a fenced area with covered deck space, as well as, a tie-out. I am happy to except dogs with medical issues, seniors and puppies 3+ months (Yes, I watch them extremely close). I require that all dogs staying in my home are current on all vaccines, provided with flea & tick medication, as well as, heartworm prevention. I absolutely will NOT tolerate any agression towards people or dogs. This is a furniture and bed friendly home. Most of my floors are hard surfaces. However, this is my home not a steel cage, therefore, I will NOT permit destruction of my furniture or property, you may be liable. I require a meet & greet with yourself & dog(s) a minimum of 48hrs prior to your/their 1st stay. There will NEVER be more than 5 dogs in my home including my own 3. I have a one family two dogs maximum.
Pets
A typical day
We have many toys, ropes, balls antlers and bones around here. We play fetch in the back yard (weather permitting). May take a short walk if your dog is leash trained. Lots love, snuggles and social interaction with both humans & my dogs.
