Availability
I am currently working part time hours as a cleaner for a short term rental business I own with my husband. On average I work between 4-10 hours a week so I am very available to take care of your puppy dog!

I love walking as much as most dogs do so I would plan to take your pup on as many walks as they need! I consider training a form of play as well and would love to incorporate commands to help your dog feel comfortable with me and stimulate their brain. Potty breaks, feeding, playtime, training time are all something I can offer as well as snuggles and nap time :)

Information Samantha S. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know about the character/personality of your dog. What are his tendencies? What commands does he know? How is he with other dogs, animals, people? Does he have any fears? What’s his energy level like? Any information like this will help the both of us have a smooth day. :)
A typical day
I enjoy stimulating my dog’s brain by doing fun training sessions or teaching them to play with dog puzzles. I also have talk buttons I can teach them to learn to use if so desired! For exercise I would do adventurous walks around the neighborhood, trips to the pet store, park, or even just a simple car ride (if they like those!) For downtime I encourage laying down wherever he is comfy and taking a nice snooze. At least 4 hours of sleep or general relaxation is very important for adult dogs (more for puppies and seniors), as well as letting him out on the line outside my apartment for some grazing in the grass (with my supervision).

Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up taking care of our family’s, neighbors, friends, and of course my first dog of my own who I’ve raised since he was 10 weeks old who is now almost 2! I very much enjoy training dogs as well- walking, crates, potty, and tricks! I have a nurturing spirit so taking care of anybody’s puppy dog is quite fulfilling!
Reviews

Glad our pups got along! Very smooth and comfortable stay for Scobey even when he was alittle homesick Samantha took care, thank you!

Samantha was great! They took Nado on walks, sent pics, and her communication was excellent! Will definitely be reaching out to her the next time we’re in Ames
Samantha is a dog owner and treats him as one of her kids! She loves and cares deeply for him and has even trained him to behave well. She is very responsible.
Samantha loves animals and cares for her own pet very well. She is considerate and very patient. She has watched our dog many times for us and he loves when she cares for him. I think she would be great at this job.
