While you’re away, your dog is invited to play dates at my property, with your permission! We have a large fenced in yard for romping and fetching. If your dog likes to go for walks in the woods, and likes car rides, we can go to nearby nature preserves for a walk as well.

Hello! My name is Sam and dogs have been my passion for as long as I can remember. I have been pet sitting since I was a teenager, and have always had a hand in caring for my family's pets. Within the last year I have had the opportunity to help whelp two litters of Bernese Mountain Dog puppies and it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I love getting to know new dogs and cats, and have been known to leave my table at a restaurant to pet a dog I see through the window. I am the person at the party seeking out the pets so I can talk to them, rather than talk to the humans! I attend obedience classes with my own dogs weekly, and will be attending handling classes soon as well. Nothing brightens my day like being greeted by a dog, and getting to take care of them. We currently have three dogs and three cats in our home. Nothing is more important to me than your animal's comfort and safety.

Samantha is reliable, efficient and caring - I felt like a member of my family was taking care of our dog and cat. She took several pictures each day and I enjoyed reading her detailed summary to everyone in her daily report. From the moment we connected, she was professional, communicative, and genuinely kind—clearly someone who loves animals and takes the responsibility seriously. Each day, she sent me updates with pictures and little notes about how the cats were doing, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. She handled feeding, litter, playtime, and even a few quirks my cats have with patience and charm. Samantha is fantastic!!!
