Care specialized to each animal
I have taken care of animals since I was young, growing up in a household with dogs and cats. I have experience with raising puppies into obedient and gentle dogs, nursing sick kittens back to health, and caring for animals with special needs. I have worked with dogs, cats, reptiles, and birds as part of my day-to-day routine. I am comfortable with dog grooming and attending to reptiles (feeding included). I currently have a young shepherd dog who would benefit greatly from some occasional additional company. During boarding stays, dogs are allowed to play loose in the house and outside in the fenced yard with my dog, I offer walks and additional enrichment opportunities as well. Dogs can sleep in bed with me or wherever they are most comfortable. I am attentive to special needs, and can provide supplemental nutrition if requested. During housesitting stays, I am more than willing to help with household chores, attend to your dog’s usual routine, and ensure a safe and joyful experience for your pet(s).

We had a wonderful experience with Samantha caring for Xena (German shepherd ) when we took a mini holiday trip. She was so warm and welcoming and sent us daily updates pictures of her while she was in her care. We appreciate your kindness and care you provided to Xena. We highly recommend her.

Our dogs took to Samantha right away. That was our first clue that she was going to be great. Our two dogs, one St. Bernard and one Frenchy were well taken care of. We plan to use Samantha when we take our next trip to Europe.

Sami was absolutely incredible! She house sat my 2 dogs and my senior cat for 8 days while my family went on vacation. She took such great care of my babies (and house) that I didn't have to worry whatsoever while trying to enjoy a family vacation. She text pictures and updates daily, which I truly appreciated. She even went above and beyond and handled an ant issue we had in the backyard! I'm so grateful that my babies weren't only cared for, but they were LOVED! I HIGHLY recommend Sami 😊

Schedule
I am available for pet care 7 days a week apart from a few hours every other day. My schedule is very flexible and I am willing to work with you in order to achieve your goals and keep your pet happy.

I have a large, fenced yard and a friendly, playful dog who will help keep your pup entertained. I can easily crate your dog if needed and am totally willing to work on ethical training while they are in my care. I can also keep my dog separated from the other animal if needed and will supply the animal with more than adequate enrichment.
Pets
A typical day
I’m very good at reading a dog’s energy levels and accommodating them for that. With high energy dogs, I have lots of toys for playtime, a high energy dog of my own who loves to play, and mentally stimulating options like lick mats. I love training, so if that is part of your pets daily routine, that is perfect for me. I enjoy walking my dog with client dogs, bathing and grooming client dogs as needed, and providing a safe, fulfilling, and relaxing environment for all pets.
