Hi! My name is Samantha, and I'm a graduate student at Claremont Graduate University. I understand that every animal needs care, attention, and affection while their owners are away. I grew up around dogs and spent many years helping care for my grandparents' beloved Pekingese. In high school, I also volunteered as a dog walker at a local animal shelter, where I gained experience working with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I also have experience caring for cats and appreciate their unique personalities and routines. Whether a cat enjoys playtime and attention or prefers a quieter environment and personal space, I am happy to adapt to their individual needs and help them feel comfortable while you're away. These experiences taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding that every animal has unique needs. My background in psychology, education, and caregiving (including experience working with children and families) has strengthened my communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to remain calm and dependable in a variety of situations. I enjoy building trust, following routines carefully, and creating a safe, comfortable environment for those in my care. Whether your pet enjoys walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I will do my best to make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you're away.
