I work as a flight attendant Monday to Wednesday's, and the rest of the time I am home. Whenever I am home I am fully available for pet sitting, dog walking and house drop ins. I mostly spend my days off going for long walks along the seawall, running, camping and enjoying time at home with my dog. I have a very flexible schedule with a lot of time off so it allows me to be fully present for any dog care.

I currently live in an apartment in Fairview with easy access to the outdoors. There is a dog park about 10 minutes away from my place along with the seawall for walks. I live in a quiet neighbourhood that is very dog friendly. There is a vet at a 10 minute walk if ever it was needed.

Pet care experience
I have had dogs on and off my entire life. I adopted an older dog in my twenties who had severe arthritis and cared for him until his final days. This gave me hands-on experience with senior care and medication administration. I have house sat for my family and friend’s dogs throughout the years and given the dogs medication whenever it was needed. I have also been on many walks, runs and hikes with dogs and am able to handle high-energy dogs. My partner and I currently own a dog who is anxious and has some separation anxiety, and so I have a lot of patience and can handle more nervous/anxious dogs. Because of his anxiousness we are almost always with him and have a very homebody lifestyles with tons of positive reinforcement and desensitization techniques.

Bailey and I immediately liked Samantha! She is a really sweet person. I appreciate that she turns on the air conditioning for Bailey when I am away at work. She is patient with my senior dog and that is exactly what I needed!
Sam was incredible looking after our dog Mabel. We went away for the weekend, and felt so reassured that Sam and her partner were looking after her. Mabel got along brilliantly with their dog Toby (such cute photos of them playing!). We got photo updates all weekend, including of Mabel playing with every single of one their many toys. A highway closure meant we got back a day late, and Sam was great and took Mabel another night with no notice. She was brilliant communicator and Mabel had such a nice time! Thank you again :)
Samantha is great with my dog! She even taught him how to shake a paw and does training with him on his walks! He looks forward to his time with her and I would trust her with my dog any day of the week!
Samantha is a true dog lover at heart. She is a friendly, resourceful and reliable person who loves to shower dogs with love and affection. Her interactions with dogs are respectful of their individual needs and personalities giving peace of mind to the owners. You can rest assured that your dog will be in safe hands with her.
