We are life-long dog lovers and have been Rover sitters for nine years! Our dogs, Boxxer and Brexxley, are well socialized and love to play with other dogs. We are comfortable and experienced around all sizes and breeds of dogs and will love your pet as our own. Our home environment is relatively calm and we have one toddler. Dogs cared for in our home must be friendly to children. We have flexible schedules and Samantha works from home. We are able to give your dog the love and attention they deserve during the day in a home environment while you are away. They will rarely be left alone as there is typically someone always here. Your pet will have lots of opportunities to play and socialize with other dogs both inside and out. We also go on daily walks (weather permitting). You will have the peace of mind that your pet is being loved and cared for while you’re away! We understand that leaving your pet can be hard and we strive to make the experience the best possible so you can enjoy your time away without worry. We send daily updates, videos and pictures during your dog’s stay with us. You can reach us at any time though the Rover app. Because we run our Rover services as a family business, there may be times when our toddler will accompany us for outcall services (walks and drop-in visits) depending on scheduling needs. Our calendar can fill up pretty quickly, especially on holidays and special occasions as we do have many regular clients using our services most of the time so please plan or book your stay with us ahead of time so we can accommodate you. Just let us know so we can give you the code before you book. *Please note* During the few occasions when we are both away from the home for personal errands or other client appointments, your dog will be crated as it can be unsafe to leave dogs unsupervised in an unfamiliar environment. We require that your dog is comfortable in a crate. Time away from home is kept at a minimum. All the nitty-gritty details: *For daycare and boarding services, we require that your dog is current on all vaccinations and is flea/tick free (documentation may be required). Preventative flea/tick care is also required. If you dog is found to have fleas or ticks, they will be treated by us at the owner’s expense. *We do not accept dogs for daycare or boarding bookings who are trained to use pee pads. No exceptions. All dogs need to be fully house-trained to go potty outside. *We only give dogs the food and treats provided by their owners so if there is something special you’d like your dog to have, please bring that with them. Dogs are never fed people food. Be sure to bring enough food for your dog for their entire stay. *Boarding rates are per night for a 24-hour time period. If your dog's stay requires a morning drop-off with an evening pick-up then a pro-rated fee may apply. Prices shown for traveling services are for clients within a 7 mile radius and an additional fee may apply for increased distances. Please see our calendar for our availability for your desired service. Feel free to reach out with any questions! *Hours for drop-in visits and walks are flexible and are determined as needed. Boarding drop-offs and pick-ups are scheduled by appointment only between the hours of 7 am and 9 pm. Let us know when to expect you and please arrive on time (not early and not late). We have other client appointments, pet care tasks and personal responsibilities to attend to and may not be available if you arrive outside of your scheduled time. We are not able to provide daycare on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. *Please be on time for your drop-off and pick-up appointments. This is very important as arriving early or late can interfere with other client appointments and our personal schedule. We understand that life happens but please be respectful and communicate with us if you have a change in plans. Please let us know you are running late BEFORE you are late. *We care for a maximum of three guest dogs at a time in our home in a combination of boarding and daycare bookings. *The services we offer include boarding, daycare (available on select days inly), drop-in visits and walks. Pick-up/drop-off transport services are also available.
