As long as I have enough prep time and clear instructions, I can commit to visiting your pet up to two times a day. I prefer to stay within walking distance of my home or a short drive away (no more than 5-10 minutes).

I always walk the caretakers through detailed instructions of how the cats should be cared for and emphasize that they need much more than just someone to feed them. I also understand that every animal is different and it’s important to respect their boundaries.

I also would like to know how your animal acts around other animals and humans, especially if it is your dog that I am taking on walks. Does your cat try to escape? A typical day
I'll take the lead from you and your cats - if they like to play, we will play as long as they want after they're fed and their litter is taken care of! I'll take your dog wherever you're comfortable with us going! We can hang out at your house, or go on nice long walks around beautiful Pittsburgh. I love to explore and be outside.

TLDR: I am cat-obsessed and will take good care of your babies! I am located in Central Lawrenceville and work from home. *** I typically only accept requests in the Lawrenceville & Bloomfield neighborhoods. Thank you for your understanding *** I am a cat-mom to Galax (10) and Zuzu (5) and have cared for many cats and dogs through Rover over the past three years. I also have experience watching friends pets in the last 10 years, and worked at a doggy day care for a short time where I helped care for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and abilities. Working from home gives my cats and I time to bond and play. I am also able to notice any slight change in behavior, which is crucial to being a cat parent as most cats hide sickness very well. I look forward to giving your babies attention and caring for them while you're away and fully understand that it can be nerve-wracking to leave them. Ultimately, it's my goal to understand your pets boundaries and provide the best care possible given their needs.

We love Samantha, and so do our cats! She's always great, she's so caring with our cats and keeps an eye on the house as well. We always feel so secure while we're traveling knowing that everything's safe and sound.
Samantha is always excellent! She whispers out our scaredy cat and makes sure he gets lots of attention. She also takes great care of the house and brings in any stray packages and mail that we get. We love how detailed the updates are and how many pictures we get :)
Samantha was great with my cat Thomas, providing great daily updates, videos, and pictures. She was very kind and enthusiastic about taking care of my boy! Great communication and overall a star sitter.
Samantha was awesome. We had to leave last minute for a family emergency and not only did she and her husband take amazing care of our cat Barb but they also shoveled the snow to the door (had left in such a rush we hadn't been able to). In a time of general panic it was great knowing our cat was in good hands
