I have to be careful with my senior dog Scooby, that he does not play too hard and hurt himself in his older age. We play low impact games now (scent training) and take shorter, slower pace walks.
A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing catch, frisbee, tug and scent training games. I play with kitties who like to play and brush those who like to be brushed. I have a 'find it' game that I play with cats who are allowed to receive treats; I hide treats around the room/house and the cat hunts for them. Cats love it!

Pet care experience
I've always loved animals. I grew up caring for a house full of critters. Mostly cats and dogs but also birds, rodents, reptiles, goats, pigs and horses. We always treat our pets like family and do our best to give them the best possible life. I currently have a senior dog (15 years old) and young hound mix (4 years old) that I raised since she was a pup. I also have a pet cockatoo that I've had since 1996 as a rescue bird. Thank you for considering me to look after you family!

I would definitely recommend Samantha! We had a large dog, small dog, and cat (all with different needs) for Samantha to care for while we were out of town, and she did a fantastic job. She communicated frequently and sent photos. We came home to happy pets!
Samantha was great for our cat. Jasmine can be shy and a little defensive at first but Samantha kept working with her and they became best friends. Everyday Samantha would send us pictures and a note. I highly recommend Samantha.
Samantha is an incredible pet sitter - she did daily check-ins with my 3 dogs for several weeks and was always on time, very reliable, and my dogs love her! During this time one of my dogs passed away and she went out of her way to adjust it through Rover even though I didn’t ask her to do so. She was so kind to us during that time as well. I will definitely have Samantha watch my dogs again!
Samantha is an extremely responsive, trustworthy, and responsible sitter. She sent photo updates and texted us a few times a day to let us know how things were going. She is kind and caring with our pets. We strongly recommend her as a sitter and we will not hesitate to book her services again.
