I have a very flexible schedule and plan my days around pet care. I live near USAFA and am conveniently located for Colorado Springs and surrounding military bases. I am happy to accommodate your cat’s feeding schedule or preferred visit times. As a service member myself, I have authorized base access and can reliably provide care for pets in on-base housing.

I offer drop-in care only, which allows pets to stay comfortable in their own home and routine. During each visit, I follow your care instructions closely, including feeding, litter box or potty checks, medication administration if needed, and enrichment appropriate to your pet’s personality. I am dependable, detail-oriented, and respectful of your home. I have a clean driving and background record and currently serve in the Air Force, which many clients find reassuring. I have also used pet sitters for my own cats, so I understand the level of communication, consistency, and trust pet owners expect.

I would love to meet you and your pets prior to the first booking whenever possible. I have found that cats tend to warm up faster when our first meeting is with their humans present. Ahead of time, it is helpful to know where your cat may hide if they are shy, their favorite toys or treats, any routines or medical notes, and anything else that will help me provide the best care while you are away. Pet care guides are always appreciated.
A typical day
In addition to covering all the basics like food, water, and litter box care, I tailor each visit to your pet’s personality and your preferences. This may include interactive play, brushing or light grooming, treats, or simply quiet companionship for cats who prefer a calm presence. I always respect your pet’s comfort level and routine. After each visit, you will receive a Rover card with multiple photos and a detailed recap so you know exactly how your pet is doing.

What sets me apart is my depth of experience with cats, especially those requiring extra care. I have over 9 years of hands-on cat ownership experience and previously served on the board of directors for a cat-only rescue, where I regularly handled medication administration, illness monitoring, seniors, and special-needs cats. I have fostered cats across all life stages, from bottle-fed kittens to geriatrics, and understand feline behavior, stress signals, and routines. While I specialize in cats, I am also happy to provide dog drop-in care when it is part of a household with cats or combined with cat visits.

Samantha did an excellent job with my two cats while I was away. She spent a good amount of time playing with them, promptly updated me on any kitty problems that arose, and sent plenty of well taken photos to keep me in the loop. It was very reassuring knowing that my cats were being well taken care of, and the notes left were very insightful. I would most definitely book again! Thank you!

SO SO grateful for Samantha's support - especially less than a day before my travel before my previous sitter wasn't able to support~ Samantha was diligent, kind, caring, punctual, gentle with the kitties, highly communicative! Her calming presence was SO needed - especially while scrambling for last minute cat care with a cat friend who needed oral meds (not an easy task!) She asked thoughtful questions & took notes during our meet & greet - all around a stellar gal and cat friend - couldn't have asked for a better sitter let alone one who managed to be available last minute!
