I always make sure clients' homes and pets are treated safely and respectfully. I begin with a meet and greet session to make get to know you, your pet, and your home and make sure we will be a good fit. When I come to a clients home I always follow the directions they provide me and provide plenty of pictures and videos during my visits.

Generally I like to know what the pets like and dislikes are! Its also important to know any medications they are on and any medical conditions the pets may have. I will also need to know any behaviors I need to watch out for so that I can tailor my visits to the pets needs.
A typical day
When I arrive at a clients home I do a survey of the house and check over the pets to make sure nothing is out of the ordinary. Depending on the clients request I will generally do walks or playtime which is my favorite part! Then I do any feeding/medications/cleaning requested by the client. Lastly I check over the house and pet a make sure everything is where it's supposed to be before I leave. Throughout the visit I take lots of pictures and videos and upload them to the Rover Card for my clients to view at their leisure.

I love animals of all shapes and sizes! I recently completed my PhD in Oceanography and was previously licensed as a veterinary technician with over 10 years paid pet sitting experience. I have 2 cats of my own, but also love dogs, exotic pets, and pocket pets. I have even worked with both farm and zoo animals! I am caring, outgoing, and reliable and will treat your furry friends like my own! I am active and love taking my clients for long walks or spending extended playtime in the backyard. I will provide photo and video updates to help ease those worried minds. Whether you are looking for overnight care or drop-in walks, you and your pets can feel safe knowing you chose someone with an extensive medical and behavioral background. I just graduated with my PhD in Oceanography and am taking some time off before starting a post-doc role at Florida Tech meaning I have a flexible schedule and daytime availability.

Samantha is a super sitter! I have never had to leave my dogs in the care of someone I did not know so this was a new experience for me as well as our pugs. After a meet and greet I felt very comfortable and honestly did not worry one bit while we were away. Our oldest dog needed a little extra care and TLC and Samantha reassured me that it was not a big deal, which was a great comfort to me. The updates we received while we were away were quite reassuring and we could tell that all of our pugs were in very good hands. I highly recommend Samantha and will definitely be using her services again!
Samantha is terrific. She communicated with us throughout the weekend and sent pictures each day. Our cats and dog were in good hands and I would definitely ask Samantha to sit again
