I always had cats growing up and have been a dog sitter for friends/family the past eight years. I’ve had a pup of my own for four years now and can’t imagine my life without her. I treat animals like children and understand how important it is to take care of others’ pets to their standard and beyond!

We used Sam for a 10 day trip. We have two cats (ex-feral but now indoor cats), and one dog. Sam also was our 'house sitter'. I can't say enough about her. I am extremely Type-A about my fur babies to the point I get really anxious before I leave and during the time I'm gone. This time I finally went on vacation and after a day or two of getting a constant flow of photos and updates from Sam on how things were going, I actually stopped worrying about what was happening at home. Not only could she handle anything that came up with our house (its highly technical) but my dog was totally at ease with her and my feral cats who do not come out for anyone - one ended sleeping on the bed with her and the other (who is a tougher sell) even came out to be part of the clan. Whenever I texted Sam she responded immediately and she texted several times each day and sent a ton of photos (which I loved). I would highly recommend Sam and plan to use her often in the future. I came home to three pets who were well cared for and my house was even immaculate. She is compassionate with animals, smart and totally reliable. I am so thankful for finding her.
Sam is amazing and so responsive! My pup always has an amazing time there with them. I have brought my dog here on a few occasions now and wouldn’t feel good leaving her with anyone else! Will always go back!!
Samantha took such good care of my dogs that they didn’t even miss us! She kept us well informed with lots of great pics and cleaned our house even though I told her not to. We will definitely use her again.
Very happy of having Samantha taking care of my baby once again! She already knows my cat needs, how picky he is, and most importantly, she gets along with him so well. Can’t ask for more. She is great!!!

Schedule
I am a full-time teacher leaving my availability more limited during the school year but I am extremely open during the summer (unless I’m already booked). I do need a bit of notice but am willing to work out a plan at the last minute if possible!

Safety, trust & environment
House sitting/Drop-Ins: I will always treat your home and belongings with the utmost respect. I’m a firm believer in leaving the home as clean or even cleaner than when I entered it. I will ensure your fur baby’s daily routine is met with careful attention to detail and comfort! Boarding: I have a fenced in backyard and a fur baby of my own to help keep yours company (but let’s do a meet and greet to make sure they get along to ensure their safety)! We love going on walks around the neighborhood, playing fetch in the backyard, hanging out inside in the AC during the hotter months, and cuddling on the couch. Sally is my only dog (Beatles is my sister’s and stays with Sally during our joint vacations). Sally is crate trained for anxiety while alone, so as a safety measure, you are required to bring a crate for your dog when boarding. Dogs will only be crated when we aren’t home. My husband will also help out with your fur baby at times, so if you’d like to meet him too, just let me know! :)

A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs mentally by practicing known tricks and trying to teach them new ones. I also love a good game of fetch and a nice stroll around the neighborhood!
