Sam was a perfect pet/house sitter. She watched our two dogs for 5 days. She kept in touch each day with updates and pictures. We could not have asked for more from her. We really appreciate her. Thanks Sam!

Samantha was an excellent walker for my two pups!! She was kind, caring, and went above and beyond to make a good experience for my babies. BEWARE when booking with Samantha. The entire purpose of hiring a sitter on Rover is knowing that your pets will be safe, cared for, and following their normal routines. Instead, I spent my trip constantly checking cameras, asking for updates, and worrying whether my pets were being cared for properly. She was hired to house-sit my two senior Siberian Huskies and 2 senior kitties for five nights during my trip to Alaska. She arrived over an hour late on her first morning, saying her alarms had not gone off. Instead of walking my pups that evening, she left and came back several hours later with three of her friends and proceeded to walk my pups in the dark down a street with no sidewalks or lights for less than 10 minutes. This all became obvious to me, as I have outside security cameras on my property. I immediately tried to call her and she would not pick up, so I messaged her to call me. When she finally called me back, I told her I had agreed she could have one friend over to watch a movie and that everyone she had brought over had to leave. She then proceeded to leave all my pets home alone again to take all her friends home and I had to message her again at 11:00 at night, as she still wasn't back. By this point, I had lost all trust in her and could not rely on her that they were being fed, walked, let outside, and properly cared for and that my pets' needs and the instructions we had agreed upon seemed to come second to her personal plans. At this point, I decided to get the first flight back cutting my trip short by four days and discovered when I returned that she had had another unauthorized person sleep over. I received very few meaningful updates, unless I asked her for them. I was also made aware of a serious safety issue as she had left my 65-lb husky's unfinished food that contained medication specifically for her on the kitchen counter, where my 15-lb kitty could have eaten it. Her behavior broke basic trust and safety rules. I trusted this sitter with four of the most precious things in my life and caution anyone who is considering using her services.

Samantha was great. She was very communicative and sent pics and took great care of my dog and our house. Would definitely use her again in the future
