I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10 years old, dogs and cats have always been members of my family. I am a devoted dog mom to 3 year old husky/malamute. I do sporadic pet/house sitting for family friends, but I'd love to spend more time helping loving dog and cat parents with their pets. It's enjoyable, rewarding and work that I am passionate about.

Safety, trust & environment
I always supervise my dog when we are out in the spacious yard and make sure he gets plenty of exercise in a safe environment and plenty of walks throughout the day. I make sure his needs are met and set him up for an active, successful day every day. Our schedule is very important to both of us. When working with a client I make sure to abide by their pets usual schedule and routines, as I know how important they are for each furry family member especially if their humans are out of town or busy.

We are very grateful to have had Samantha look after our dogs twice now. She is responsible, friendly, communicative, flexible, and very capable. She takes very good loving care of our dogs and our home when we are away. I love that she sends photos and gives us updates. Absolutely recommend her!!!

Samantha is absolutely the best! She is quite competent, quickly figuring out the house and the pet routines (they took to her immediately). She not only took care of the pets but the house as well for an extended period. We regularly got updates and were very comfortable while we were gone. I would highly recommend Samantha to everyone’

Sam is the best! She has been our nanny (and de facto house sitter and dog sitter) for two years now and we feel so lucky. She takes excellent care of our labradoodle - all the snuggles, walks, etc… he could dream of, and does the same for her dog too. Sam is professional, tidy, thoughtful, and respectful. Your home and pets will be in excellent care with her.

Schedule
I work part time as a teacher/nanny in Lake Forest during the fall and winter, so I am lucky enough to have ample time during the week to walk and care for pets.
