Hey, I’m Sam, dog mum to Murphy (my VERY spoilt Cavapoo who I treat like an actual child), and someone who knows first-hand how stressful it is trying to find the right person to leave your dog with. I grew up with dogs (big & small), and my family bred Golden Retrievers when I was younger, so I’ve been around dogs all my life. I live in BS6 with my husband Phil, and I work from home with Murphy (who loves having a dog friend over to share the sofa). To give you an idea of the environment here, we're in a 4 bed house, and we have a totally enclosed garden that can only be accessed via the house, so it's completely secure. I'm also happy to only do on-lead walks if that gives you extra peace of mind. I only take one dog at a time, because I want them to settle, feel safe, and be properly cared for so that they get my full attention. If you have a routine, I’ll stick to it. If your dog sleeps upstairs with you, they’ll sleep upstairs with us. I don’t use crates unless you ask me to. They’re welcome on the sofa, and I’ll send you regular updates, photos, and videos so you can relax knowing they’re OK. I know how anxious it can feel handing them over, especially if you’ve had a bad experience before, or if they’re your baby (Murphy is mine, so I get it). My priority is always making sure you feel confident they’re in good hands, and that they're going to get exactly the same love and treatment with me that they'd get at home. Samantha was absolutely amazing looking after our dog, Bella, for 10 days while we were away. From the moment we left her, we felt completely reassured that she was in the best hands. We loved receiving regular photos and updates, and it was so lovely to see just how happy and settled Bella was. It genuinely felt as though she was being loved and cared for just as much as she would be at home, which meant we could relax and enjoy our holiday without worrying about her. Bella also got on brilliantly with Samantha’s dog, Murphy, and it was lovely to see them become such firm friends during her stay! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Samantha to anyone looking for someone kind, caring and trustworthy to look after their dog. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Bella — she clearly had a fantastic holiday too! We will definitely be back. ❤️🐾
Willow had the best time during her holiday with Sam, Phil & Murphy 🐶. We were super anxious about leaving her whilst we were going away on holiday but Sam was so lovely and reassuring - even offering a meet before hand at her home. We had regular updates during our time away and it was obvious to see that Willow was having the best time and was being well cared for. Without doubt would use again for our precious fur-baby. Sam and Phil was amazing at looking after our Cavapoo Willow we had lots of pictures daily of all the fun they were having Willow was truly spoilt and very well looked after will definitely be booking again Murphy there own dog got on with Willow amazingly thanks to you both so much for looking after Willow so well.
Sam was amazing at looking after our Dalmation! We had daily pictures of all the cuddles and fun they were having and she really bonded with her. Would 100% book again, our dog was truly spoiled and was really looked after and loved. Thanks Sam!
We are so pleased we found this amazing couple to look after our baby whilst we got married! Sam & Phil went above and beyond any expectations we had for this service. Not only did they make our Olive so at home and comfortable, they also brought her down to the ceremony in town to meet us after we got married, this was Sam’s idea and I honestly will never got over how thoughtful it was! The best! I spent a long time looking through Rover to find a replacement for someone to look after our dog Orla, after our last sitter emigrated. As soon as I met Sam, I felt she really cared about getting everything right. Orla is sensitive, a bit needy and very very attached to me. Sam completely understood and was very reassuring to Orla (and me!). Her own gorgeous dog Murphy is so relaxed and I’m sure that also helped Orla feel at home. Sam formed a strong bond with Orla immediately. I received lots of reassuring photos and have already booked her again for a longer stay. I’m so delighted to have found Sam and will be booking any future holidays around her availability!

Schedule
I work from home so will be with your pup at all times. They'll get at least 2 walks a day and I'll check any specific preferences or instructions with you beforehand.

Safety, trust & environment
They're allowed everywhere in my house so they'll never be shut away, and I have a fully enclosed garden that can't be accessed from the back or sides (only through the house), so they will be safe at all times. I'm also happy to ensure they're not let off the lead on walks for your own peace of mind if you would prefer.
Pets
A typical day
Lots of walks (tailored to your dog’s pace and preferences), playtime in the garden, sofa snuggles, enrichment toys or games, and plenty of calm, cosy company.
