I am currently studying and training dogs so my daily routine is very flexible right now. I can offer drop-ins, dog walks and sitting weekdays and some weekends. My overnight dog sitting rate of £90 in your own home includes daytime (usually 20-21 hours) and includes any walks your dog/dogs need.

Please let me know as much information about your dog as possible (bad as well as good!) so I can offer the best care/experience possible. I am used to caring for all breeds but especially sighthounds.
A typical day
Mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise. This can vary depending on age and of course weather. I do not walk dogs in the heat. I like to give dogs a variety of walks in parks/woods or their own regular favourite places. For dogsits, basic training can be given (but only if its something your dog enjoys)

I’ve owned rescue Greyhound’s for 20 years and despite being a Specialist Nurse am now training to be a dog behaviourist with the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training. I have cared and trained family and friends dogs and worked with some very experienced Dog Trainers. I care and work with all breeds but my specialty are sighthounds. I am now concentrating on my dog business as I have left the NHS behind.

Samantha looked after our rather anxious older whippet for us whilst we visited Hastings. We dropped our whippet off and were pleased from the start as Samantha greeted our whippet (and us) quietly and calmly. Her home also reflected this - a calm, comfortable, pet friendly space. She asked good questions about our pet and her habits, and introduced her own dog later on when ours had had a chance to settle in. She is obviously an experienced, gentle and knowledgeable dog person. If we visit Hastings again we would not hesitate to book Samantha to look after our beloved wee dog.
Sam was great with Saffie. Very accommodating around Saffie’s schedule and anxieties, communicated well throughout and gave really thorough updates. Saffie was calm and happy when we got back. Would highly recommend.
Sam was so amazing with our old girl. She was on time, trustworthy and reliable. Her updates coming through while I was sat in the office absolutely made my day. She even took her for some doggy ice cream on a hot day 🥹🥰 Thank you Sam 💙
Samantha does a regular walk with our German Shepherd, Nova. Samantha is reliable and understands dogs so well, we are so pleased we found her!
