Hello, My name is Samantha. I moved back to Los Angeles, California again and living in the sea side city of San Pedro. Now having moved back to California, I am an avid gardener, cook, runner, walker, swimmer and backpacker. I also enjoy food, art, music, and animals; might I add a museum connoisseur. =) My love for animals started at a very young age. I was formerly living in Denver, CO for roughly seven 10 years and have been providing pet boarding/sitting services to both dogs and cats (and rarely birds) in surrounding cities. I treat my clients' pets as though they were my own (with love and respect). Animals have always been a huge passion in my life, alongside nature, and environmental conservation. I live in an extremely dog friendly neighborhood, which has made the dogs' and cats' experiences very comfortable when pet boarding. I live across from the beach and white point nature preserve perfect for walking pups, which provides a perfect walking path for any pup(s) and myself. Hence, having an opportunity to see a sunset next to the ocean or a morning stroll in the background isn’t a bad way to start or end your day. Can’t say enough great things about Samantha. She did amazing with our dog Nola. Nola was a recent rescue and was scared of many things. Samantha was so patient with her even after Nola got scared and almost bit her. Samantha will not be a mistake for you to have care for your fur babies.
We are so happy that we found Samantha on Rover! She was so sweet with our pup and sent photos and updates. I can tell that she is a natural with pets! Our dog loved her and we would definitely recommend her!
Samantha was so incredibly sweet with our pup Kevin. You could tell she loved him like we love him. The second day we took him to her he couldn't jump out of the car fast enough and ran straight to her home. He came back to us sleepy and calm and you can tell he was well cared for. So grateful for Samantha making him so at home!

Schedule
My routine has varied since I now have an open schedule, which allows me to be more present than graduate school! So please don’t hesitate to ask and I will reply as soon as possible regarding availability. Thank you.

I care for my pets as if they were my own. Unfortunately mine have passed a long time ago, however I found that Rover gave me a new calling. The various personalities and connections are extremely important to me. I make sure to abide by the rules the owner has and respect them and do my best to make the pet(s) happy and comfortable as possible. Also, leaving a home as you first saw it is a big rule for me.
A typical day
I love to stimulate pups playing games outside or indoor, lay around and cuddle while I work on my class work (towards another sector - UX Research). From hikes, nice walk or run around a park, or even camping. Of course it depends on the pup and the owner’s permission.

Furthermore, it is important to relay your pet’s/ pets’ individual routine and overall personality, enabling me to provide the best experience.
