Pet care experience
Ever since I was a little girl, pets were always an important part of my life. From the moodiest dogs to the friendliest snakes, owning a pet taught me valuable life lessons while also enriching my emotional well-being. My parents adored animals and felt that having them throughout my life would teach me responsibility, discipline, and patience. They were absolutely right! Throughout the years I learned how to train cats and dogs, monitor their health and wellness, and give them a happy loving home to feel secure in. I have experience with puppies and recently took on adopting senior animals in the past to learn more about their special needs so they can live a calm and comfortable life. Kindness is my favorite approach when caring for a furry friend!

Samantha has looked after my cat, Beez, a handful of times over the past few years. Every time she has been extremely professional and communicative. She feeds and cleans up after Beez, and gives her lots of cuddles and play time. I get the sense that she goes the extra mile: not just doing the bare minimum but taking care of Beez as if it were her own fur baby. I always return to a happy & healthy kitty. 10/10 would recommend for any pet owner!
Samantha has taken exceptional care of my 55 pound shepherd mix. I especially like that she texts pictures updating me of how their walks went. Finding the right caregiver for a rescue dog with certain anxieties can be challenging, but I’ve never felt more comfortable leaving my dog with a sitter. Samantha is doting, attentive and responsible. She brings my pups favorite treats on walks, wipes her paws when she comes in and gives plenty of belly rubs. If you want quality care for your animal and peace of mind while you’re at work, running errands or on vacation, Samantha’s your gal.

I live in a pretty spacious apartment complex with a closed off balcony on the ground floor. Even though, I do not have a back or front yard, it is my top priority to make sure your fur baby gets some fresh air and sunshine on frequent walks! There are no other animals in my apartment so it is perfect for any pet with special needs or a pet that just needs to be isolated due to their age, breed, etc. The complex is also very calm and quiet throughout the week and all hours of the day.

A typical day
Maintaining my physical fitness is super important to me and I would love to share that with your dog! Especially living in San Diego, I love hitting dog friend beaches and hiking trails on the regular. Your pup can join me on my daily jogs if they’re up for it! If we’re having some down time we can play tug-of-war until one of us gets tired!

Availability
As a remote worker, I am very flexible! My work schedule is Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM. My team is super supportive and understanding when any changes in my daily routine arise. Caring for a pet in my daily life will add more energy throughout my day. Weekends are also pretty quiet for me so having a furry companion to watch movies with will be awesome!
