A typical day
Walks can be so much fun! They're usually my favorite way to get to bond with dogs, it engages their mind and moves their body to release energy and stress. Cats are generally go with the flow, unless they have medication schedules, I love being able to sit and play games with cats, or give them treats and brush them with a zoom groom. Anything I can do to build special bonds with your pets to make it easier for them in your absense is my goal.

Hi there! I’m Sam. I'm a military spouse, mom of three, and lifelong animal lover. I’ve been pet sitting for families in military communities across Schofield Barracks (HI), Las Vegas (NV), Fort Drum (NY), and Fort Riley (KS). I grew up with dogs of all sizes, from a gentle St. Bernard to a spunky Rat Terrier, and I’ve always believed pets deserve the same love and care we give our family. I’m fully insured and officially approved as a Home-Based Business (HBB) provider on Fort Leonard Wood, so you can feel confident your pets are in professional, trustworthy hands. I know how much peace of mind it brings to leave your animals with someone reliable and I’m here to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for while you’re away! Currently, I have two dogs: a Boxer/Akita mix, and a Standard Poodle, both of whom follow daily schedules for feeding, play, walks, and enrichment activities. My services go beyond dog care; I also specialize in senior pet care, cat care, small livestock, and pets needing injection medications. Additionally, I am pet CPR/first aid certified, so I’m ready to handle emergencies with confidence. Samantha is the greatest! She gives my kitties all the attention and goes beyond her duty scope by cleaning up my kitties mess (hair, liter scattered). She is timely and reliable! I highly recommend her for your at home visits! This was my first time using rover and I was weary allowing a stranger in my home, but between her meeting me prior to my departure, my cameras and her professionalism , I have no worries using her again!
