My home is specially set up with small and senior dogs in mind; including ramps to access the backyard, as well as ramps and/or stairs to the beds and couches, so every dog can move around safely and comfortably. I only host one guest dog at a time to ensure each pup receives my full attention and care. Your dog will always be supervised, loved, and treated like family in a safe, relaxed, and dog-friendly home.

Understanding their habits, energy levels, and any special requirements allows me to tailor the day to their unique needs. If your pup has favorite toys, snacks, activities, or any specific instructions at all, please share them with me. I want to ensure their stay with Max and I is as comfortable, safe, and enjoyable as possible.
A typical day
A typical day in my home is relaxed, cozy, and tailored to your dog’s individual needs. Mornings are quiet with breakfast, cuddles, and light playtime with my Chihuahua, Max. In the warmer afternoon hours, we’ll enjoy a walk and some backyard playtime. Early evenings can include a visit to a small dog park called Wolf Willow, where I often meet with a friendly small dog group; this is, of course, optional, only if you’d like your fur-baby to join. After that, we settle in for the evening with quiet snuggles, gentle play, and plenty of love. Your fur-baby is welcome to sleep in bed with Max and I, if they prefer. ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and completely at home.

I have 19+ years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, including raising my two beloved Chihuahuas to 14 and 16 years old. I now share my home with Max, my friendly and well-trained Chihuahua puppy, who loves having new friends over. My compassionate approach, combined with a deep understanding of small dog’s unique needs, sets me apart. Whether it’s playtime for puppies or a calm environment for seniors, I’ll make sure your fur-baby feels safe, comfortable, and loved while staying with Max and I.

I had to look for a sitter for my puppy who has seperation anxiety and found Samantha. Samantha was really patient and loving with my puppy who was extremely hyper and in the biting phase. Samantha kept me posted with pictures and videos of my pooch while I was at my job training which helped with my own seperation anxiety from my pup. I would definitely recommend Samantha as a person to care for your pooch.
Samantha was great, looked after my dog when I was at work and have zero complaints. He was happy and overjoyed to have company all day. She was happy to be there.
Sam has been and always be the best caregiver of animals, dogs especially. I would trust her with my pets and my life under any circumstances. She goes above and beyond basic care for animals. Any pet owner would be privileged to have her as a caregiver, sitter and or walker.
