My name is Samantha and I've been a lifelong lover of all creatures great and small! I am currently a mom to a 8 year old miniature schnauzer, but I've had a kitty or dog companion by my side my entire life. I'm new to Mississippi Mills and I would love to meet your pet. Friends in Ottawa have relied on me to check in on their fur babies, take them for walks, feed them dinner, or simply spend time with them! I'm very reliable, I work from home 4 out of 5 week days, have a car, am flexible and adaptive.

Sam is a fantastic pet sitter and has helped me out so many times with my two cats when I’ve traveled! She’s very responsible, proactive, and sends lots of pictures. She is a great dog mom to her own girl and always goes above and beyond to make sure that she’s happy and healthy. I would recommend Sam to anyone looking for a caring, responsible pet sitter.
Samantha has been caring for our Golden Retriever, Harvey, since he was a puppy. “Auntie Sam,” as we call her, is one of his favourite people. She has always treated Harvey as if he were her own, and we never have to worry when he is in her care. I cannot recommend Samantha highly enough. She is kind, caring, and responsible, and any dog would be lucky to have her as a caregiver.
Samantha has dog sat my dog, Pearl, at least 3 times and every time I feel confident Pearl is taken care of with the utmost love and care. Pearl is an anxious and timid girl, so I am careful with who I leave her with. Samantha sends lots of pupdates and is quick to ask questions when needed, Pearl always comes home happy and healthy. I strongly recommend Samantha as a dog sitter!
Samantha checked in on my cat when I was out of town. Her great communication gave me peace of mind that my cat was in great hands! I will always reach out to Sam if I need a cat-sitter. She's great with pets!

Schedule
I work from home 4 out of 5 days of the week and am typically available on evenings and weekends. If your pup likes other pups I can have them join in on my routine walks with my little schnauzer. If not, that's cool too! I'm always down for a solo walk.

A typical day
I live around plenty of green space that we can explore! I also have a mostly fenced in backyard that can accomodate dogs with good recall. I take my own dog on upwards of 5 walks a day around the neighborhood and can do the same for your pooch. Lots of cuddling and playing with toys can be done too!!
