Pet care experience

Available Thanksgiving/Christmas

I'm a 37 year-old Clinical Psychologist with a passions for dogs (and other furry friends). I am available for drop-ins, walks, and house sittings, and love working with both my canine and feline friends. I also love the opportunity to work with exotics and other small animals (I really do love most animals!). In regards to house sittings, I can stay in your home overnight, dependent on your preference, and generally limit my service area to within 10 miles from my home in Seatac (as I have furbabies of my own to care for). I currently work full time, mainly from home, however go into a physical location around once a week. On those days, I can be out for 10-12 hours, so this is something to take into account for weekday house sittings. For cat/other animal drop ins: I am able to provide care for many types of animals. If you are looking for someone to complete a no frills drop in, I can provide this services for a reduced charge ($12 within a 10 mile radius). This involves providing basic care that would take around 10 minutes (e.g. refilling food water bowls, litter box clean-up, daily visual checks), and is perfect for cats that don't require (or want) socialization, birds, reptiles, other small critters, etc. I've been taking care of dogs most of my life (mine and others), worked at a vet's office during high school, have volunteered and fostered through various shelters (Humane Society of Silicon Valley, RASKC Kent, Seattle Area Feline Rescue, etc). and have been dog walking/sitting professionally for about 5 years. I also fostered kittens on and off for the past few years. I have skills in basic dog training and have taken advanced training classes through the animal shelter. I am able to look after (and enjoy) most other types of animals. I currently have a friendly dachshund mix named Sugar and a Tabby cat named Kittana.

Had a flight cancelled and had to book an extra day for our two cats. Samantha helped no problem and even offered to buy more cat food if we needed. Have used her twice already and will again!
