Hi, I'm Sam! I was born and raised in Portland, so I am very familiar with the area and community! I have owned pets my entire life and have much experience with other people's pets as well. At home, I raised my current dog Margo from a puppy, tended to my previous cats and dogs when they got old, and have had experience fostering and then later adopting an aggressive and unpredictable rescue dog. I started walking and pet sitting my neighbor's dogs at the age of 12. I have house/pet sat for cats and dogs of every kind, including old dogs who have accidents in the house and skittish dogs who are afraid of people. In college I continued my dog walking and house/pet sitting and now that I am back home, I hope to do the same!

Sam was wonderful! Our dog is very apprehensive of new people but immediately took to her. She did a couple meet and greets, which I think helped our dog a lot. She was also very responsive and took great care of our house. We would love to have her again!
Samantha took great care of my dogs and was very kind and caring. Right off the bat when I first met her, I got an excellent first impression. I have 2 large breed behavioral dogs that she was comfortable working with. She is very warm and friendly and was great with my dogs. She was also extremely communicative and kept me updated throughout the week. When I came home after a week away, my dogs were happy and relaxed, so they also had a great week. I completely trust Samantha and the care she provided.
Samantha took great care of my dogs while I was on vacation. I will definitely hope to book again!

A typical day
I am very familiar with Portland, so I can take your dog on many fun hikes and walks in beautiful places. I also love seeing new things and checking out new places, and who better to do it with than a dog! I'll also do all of the dog's favorite activities, whether that be playing with a ball, going on car rides to the beach, the snow, all the fun places near Portland, playing with toys, anything the dog's heart desires!
