I'm here for your dogs in Fairpark!
I absolutely love dogs! I have Rovered for several years on-and-off in both Seattle and SLC, I have sat and walked dogs of all breeds, sizes, personalities and fitness levels. It has been incredible!! Beyond pet sitting/walking on Rover, I grew up in a home that had chickens, rabbits, cats, dogs, small rodents and a snake. Now, I am serving dog walking/drop-in visits needs for dogs living in the following neighborhoods: Fairpark, Rose Park, Marmalade, Poplar Grove and Capitol Hill. For doggy daycare needs, I will consider dogs across the Salt Lake Valley. For dog-walking/drop-in visits, I am available for dogs of all sizes/ages/energy levels. NOTE: I am not currently not offering daycare/overnight dog sitting, as of 09.21.26. For doggy daycare/dog-sitting requests in my home, I am available for small-medium sized dog at my home. I will consider large dogs with mellow/non-dominant personalities as well. My dog Hen (20 lbs. Shih Tzu/Poodle mis) will be present for play and companionship during your dog's stay, so unfortunately I cannot accept any anti-social pups for daycare in our home. There are 2 cats in our household, so any dogs with cat aggression are unlikely to be good fits for our home. We do have a variety of pet gates in place so that both cats and dogs remain safe and contained. Puppies/young dogs are welcome for dog-walking/drop-in visits/doggy daycare, but dependent on the request, please plan on providing commands/schedule details so that I am well set up to support your training regimen!

Safety, trust & environment
Generally for our home for sleepovers, dogs should be crate trained (for evening sleeping) and loves to play with dogs/toys. I have ample access to great dog friendly outdoor space with my backyard. My dog Hen is very playful with puppies and dogs near his size, and will provide many hours of fun, in addition to walks and toy time. If I need to leave the home, all dogs will be kept in separate rooms and they will not be un-monitored together at any time. I provide 2 walks per day, tons of access to toys, and plenty of couch time. It will be a vacation for your pup! I do not go into environments that are off-leash (hikes, dog parks, etc.) with visiting dogs. Your dog will have two walks daily (morning and evening) in my neighborhood and if your dog does well with other dogs on leash, my dog will join us. Otherwise, I am happy to provide individualized walks for dog guests.

Schedule
I am able to provide dog walking, or drop ins for dogs and/or cats, on most Saturday and Sundays. I have occasional availability on holidays.
