I currently work 8-5pm from home, and I would like to offer my caregiving in around those hours. For stop overs/check in's during my lunch break, after work hours and on weekends, I will check in on your pet(s) and make sure they are taken care of and have what they need, per your specific instructions. For overnight care, I would simply need somewhere to sit with my computer and reliable wifi in order to work from your home, so I can be there all day with your pet(s).

A typical day
I make sure on walks that your dogs get plenty of stimulation and sniffs. I also love to play with them if they enjoy playing with toys or running around the yard. I understand every animal has different personalities so if they prefer to be quiet, nap or generally left alone while in the home, that is okay too.

Pet care experience
I am a 15+ year vegan and lifelong animal lover. I have had pets on and off for my whole life, including dogs, cats and other animals and my family has always adopted rescue animals. I even spent a lot of weekends and most summers as a pre-teen/teenager helping on my grandparent’s ranch, where we cared for rescue animals. I love caring for animals and making sure they are well loved and looked after while they are with me. I have regularly dog and cat sat for friends, family and co-workers over the last 15 years or so. I am comfortable with any size or age dogs and cats. My family in the past has had all sized dogs from a chihuahua to the two german shepherd mixes we have now. They are all characters and they make us laugh everyday, and bring joy to our lives. I love being around animals and seeing their different personalities, especially when I meet dogs out public and get to ask their name and say hi. It genuinely makes me happy. I look forward to helping you care for your fur babies as if they were my own. I have experience giving medicine in pill form to cats and dogs, have cared for young and senior pets alike. Whether it’s watching them overnight, or doing drop-ins to maintain a regular meal/medicine routine or making sure your pet stays hydrated throughout the day, I prioritize comfort and health for all animals in my care.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Sam Hart. Not only she is a great coworker, but she truly went above and beyond while house-sitting for us. She took such great care of our home—making sure everything was clean, organized, and just as we left it. Our two cats were very well cared for, fed on schedule, and clearly comfortable and happy when we returned. Sam also handled all the little details that make a big difference, like bringing in the mail, watering our plants, and even putting the garbage cans out on collection day. It gave us such peace of mind knowing everything was being taken care of so responsibly. We are so grateful and would absolutely trust Sam again without hesitation. Highly recommend!
