I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by dogs since childhood; growing up with a Toy Poodle and later adopting brother and sister pups who are a mix of everything. My love of dogs began as a young girl when I studied and memorized dog breeds and later play pretended them for my family. Although my love isn't as expressive today, the passion is still strong. I have been dog sitting, through Rover, since 2016 and my love for dogs have only grown. Some relevant skills I have for dog sitting is being a good, kind and calm person. A dogs' intuition is incredible. I also love hiking, reading at parks and exploring quieter areas near the city.

I care for pets with respect and attentiveness. I understand that it can be strange for pets to have a new person in the house. And, so, I arrive with a soft energy and respect for their space to get to know me.

Sam was amazing with my dog and two cats. My dog is super anxious and fearful of almost everyone (except me). But Sam was very patient and good with her. She was communicative with me and was respectful of my home. I highly recommend Sam!
Samantha was great!! Very sweet with my cats, and gave great updates.
Samantha was great with our cat! My kids loved the daily pictures while we were on vacation.
Samantha took amazing care of our two pups, we were very thankful to have updates through out our trip. Our younger pup went on multiple walks and our older boy got lots of love.

I recently moved to Santa Cruz for the MFA in Social Documentation program to continue my freelance career as a documentary film producer. I am often working from home or coffee shop!
