A typical day
Upon arriving, I love to greet an excited dog or cat and get right down to business - whether it be walking, feeding, watering, playing, etc. During your workday or vacation time when your pet may be alone for long periods, I like to give my full attention to their physical and emotional needs. I also honor a dog's desire to smell during the walk, since this is part of their "job". Clients have noted a change in their dog's demeanor when I have allowed them to stop and sniff every once in a while.

Pet care experience
I have lived with many animals ranging from hermit crabs to cats to chickens to goats. For the past seven years, though, my family has had two large dogs (a German Shepherd and German Shepherd/Husky/Wolf mix) that I frequently walk, groom, and care for. We have also owned a very cuddly cat for three years. I understand that each animal's personality is different, and I respect different approaches to their care if/when applicable. I am happy to take my time and offer each animal his/her specific needs. I live a very active lifestyle and have no physical limitations. I am able to handle large and strong dogs during walks and play. I do not mind inclement weather situations during walks such as heat or rain, within reason of my and your pet's safety. I hope you, your pet, and I can connect soon!
