I know how important it is to take good care of your pets. It is a priority to me to make sure that I follow any instructions you have to make sure your pet gets the care they deserve. If I have ANY concerns about your pet's health or safety, I won't hesitate to contact you. I always make sure to pay attention to the weather and make decisions as needed based on the conditions - for example, to prevent your dog's paws getting scorched on pavement on a hot day, I may look for a more shady route or play with your dog indoors as an alternative. If you have a brachycephalic (flat-faced) breed of dog, I'll pay close attention to their exertion level and breathing.

A typical day
I love getting outside and exercising with your pups! On rainy or cold days, I’m happy to take dogs out for a shorter walk and add some indoor play time - or if your dog doesn’t mind the weather, I’ll bundle up with them! I tend to talk to my dog pals while we're out walking, I'll talk to them as if they were a small child, and sometimes sing to them. I also love to photograph my clients! I have on occasion been told I don't need to send so many photos, but I do enjoy taking them.

I'm Samantha, a dog walker and pet sitter located in Newington, CT. I provide mid-day walks on a daily or weekly basis for pup parents who have to work! I also offer drop-in visits to care for dogs, cats, or other small animals while you're away from home. I've always been an animal lover, but I never thought caring for pets would be my career. I started walking dogs full-time in 2024, when I was looking for work and struggled to find a job that fit my available hours as a working mom. Now I spend my day with four-legged friends, ensuring they get the care and attention they need while you're at work or away from home. I have pet sitters insurance through Pet Sitters Associates, so you can have peace of mind when you're away from your pets. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds! Teacup Yorkies to Great Danes, I've walked them all. I am also happy to walk your dog of any breed - pitties and rotties don't scare me! Puppies to senior pups welcome! I love both the energy puppies bring and the chill vibes that older dogs often have. Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night... my grandfather was a USPS postmaster many years ago, and I like to think I now walk in his footsteps a bit! Whatever the weather is doing, I'll be there for you and your pup, in the rain, snow, or summer heat. (Please note: I will make adjustments for your dog's safety at my own discretion.) I love photographing my pet clients! You can always expect photos of what we're up to, and I really enjoy trying to get dynamic shots while we're playing.
