Pet care experience

Small home, big hearts, cozy stays!

Caring for animals is truly part of my family’s everyday life. I’m not just a sitter, i’m a mom raising children with the dream of being future animal rescuers. Pet sitting is the beginning of the journey. Every pet who stays with us gets patience, playtime, and a safe, loving environment. I’m experienced with small breeds, senior pups, and pets who need a little extra running time. We treat every animal like they’re part of our home, and we’re excited to build something great through the care we give.

Great lil stay with Samantha. For a short notice request, she was available for the time and was also flexible with my drop off and pick up time. Listened to my needs and directions for Bandit to a tea. Would recommend to any body needing a dog sitter for the day!

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Samantha for 30+ years, and she has always been a loving and responsible pet owner and pet friend! She has helped care for my dogs (and cat) on multiple occasions while we were away. I always knew our pets were loved and well cared for, while we gone! She was always punctual with letting them out, keeping them fed, and stayed just to give them extra love! Samantha is a hard worker, and takes pride in every job she takes on! I would absolutely trust her with any of your pet care needs!

Schedule

Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because animals are already a big part of our home life. We start our mornings with potty breaks, fresh water, and a little playtime before the day gets going. Throughout the day, I do work full time from home. Being home I am able to give regular attention, snuggles, and check‑ins, and my daughter loves being involved in gentle ways as she works toward her dream of becoming an animal rescuer. Evenings are for winding down, treats, and cozy time. Caring for pets isn’t something we squeeze in it’s something that naturally fits into the rhythm of our home.

Safety, trust & environment

I’m home full time, so visiting pets get steady attention and reassurance throughout the day. I have three dogs of my own, including two rescues, and they’re all friendly, well‑socialized, and happy to welcome a new friend. A portion of my yard is set up specifically for dogs, giving them a safe place to play and explore. I’m also able to separate pets when needed, both inside and outside. With two buildings on my property and a dedicated run available, I can create calm, individual spaces for dogs who need breaks, slow introductions, or a quieter environment. Whether your pet enjoys being social or prefers a little extra space, I make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for the entire time they’re with us.

Pets

A typical day

We have a small home full of lots of love! Snuggle Sessions & Couch Hangouts Perfect for the cuddlers. Whether they want full‑body hugs like Shadow or gentle lap time like Otis, there’s always space for them to relax and feel safe. Backyard Playtime Fetch, zoomies, tug‑of‑war — whatever matches their energy. Maggie especially loves showing guests how to play. Treat Time & Homemade Goodies I love making simple, pet‑friendly snacks (with owner approval). It’s a cute way to make them feel at home Photo Updates & Cute Moments I love capturing their personalities — goofy faces, cuddle piles, nap spots — and sending updates so owners feel connected. Family Love & Gentle Kid Interaction My daughter is a natural animal lover and future rescuer. Pets who enjoy kids get sweet, supervised attention and lots of gentle affection.

I want every pet to feel safe, understood, and completely at home here, so it helps a lot if you share anything that makes their care smoother and more comfortable. Things like: • Daily routine & habits — feeding times, potty schedule, sleep preferences, and anything that helps keep their day familiar. • Personality quirks — shy, energetic, cuddly, vocal, anxious, clingy, independent, or anything unique to them. • Comfort items — favorite toys, blankets, treats, or things that help them settle in. • Social preferences — how they do with other dogs, cats, kids, or new people. This is most Important as I am a mom of two pet lovers and the pets we have in our home are our family • Medical needs — medications, allergies, sensitivities, or mobility issues. • Triggers or fears — loud noises, storms, certain handling, food guarding, or anything that might stress them. • Training cues — commands they know, words you use at home, or signals that help them listen and feel secure. • Crate use — if they’re crate‑trained, prefer open spaces, or need a quiet area to decompress. My goal is always to match the care they get at home so they feel safe, loved, and understood while they’re with us.
