Availability
Dog walking and pet sitting is my full-time job. I prefer to book in 2-4 hour windows whenever possible. If you need a more precise time for something like medication, or an anxious dog that needs a strict schedule, I will do my absolute best to accommodate that.

A 30 minute walk will be about 25 minutes of walking time, and a 60 minute walk will be about 55 minutes. With the remaining time, I will give your pet/s fresh water and all the attention they want after taking off leashes and harnesses and putting them away. For 30 and 60 minute drop-in visits, I can do whatever is needed - feeding, medication, bathroom breaks, walks, playtime, litter box cleaning, etc. Policies (in addition to Rover policies): - I do not use retractable leashes due to personal preference. If that is all you have, I will use my own leashes. - If it is raining or there is snow out, I am still happy to walk your dog! I keep plenty of towels in my car at all times, and pet wipes as well. If your dog does not like to get wet, I will take them for a shorter walk or bathroom break in your yard if you have one. I will spend the remaining time playing with them or doing other enrichment activities. - I require all clients to fill out a vet release form. This will allow me to take your pet/s to the vet in the event of an emergency. - I need at least one *local* emergency contact. - For house sitting, all exterior locks need to be fully functional.
Information Samantha G. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for your pets, I need to know about any history of aggression towards people/dogs/cats/other animals. This is not for judgement or exclusion, but for safety. I also would like to know ahead of time if your pet needs any medication, and how they react when you give it to them. I have absolutely no breed preferences. Before caring for any pets, I require a meet and greet, which are usually about 30 minutes long but range from 15 minutes to an hour. Please have keys ready at the meet and greet if I will need them to access your home.

Pet care experience
I have been caring for my own cats and dogs for 11 years, and have had dogs be a part of my family for most of my life. I began pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors about 13 years ago, and have been working through Rover since December 2019. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I am first aid and CPR certified through Pro Pet Hero. I have given oral medication to both dogs and cats, but I do not yet have experience with injected medications. I am insured through Pet Care Insurance.
Reviews

Samantha is so great! Our fur babies love her even the one that needs to get a pill. I Highly recommend her.

Samantha always goes above and beyond for our Millie girl

Samantha is amazing. She watched our Sam through a snow storm and took such good care of him. She follows all his routines and spoils him☺️ She left the house in great condition. She is the best!

Very kind and took great care of my cats while I was away. Daily updates and pictures. Helped me on short notice
