I am a bar manager and go to work at 9 AM at the earliest. I can be home anywhere from 4 to 10 PM, but my boyfriend gets home at 6 PM so your pup will get plenty of snuggles in the morning and the evening. I typically have Sundays and Mondays off.

I have a large, entirely fenced-in yard so your pup will have plenty of space to run and play. The entrance to the yard is a large staircase with no backs on the steps. If your pup is insecure on stairs, there is a side entrance to my yard that they can use. My three dogs are energetic, friendly, and love making new friends. It's important to me to bond with each of the dogs in my care so they know that they are safe and cared for. As a note, the dogs who tend to do the best in my care are socially confident, playful pups who like to explore.

Before booking any new clients, I 100% require a meet and greet at least 3 days in advance. I do this for my comfort as well as my client's; plus the pups get to know one another and they aren't being left with someone they don't know. I would prefer dogs that are not dog-aggressive, but will take them with advanced notice and conversation with the owner. I'd also like to know about your dog's vaccinations, potty training, crate training or anything similar.

Mental and physical stimulation are equally important for all pets. Your fur baby will enjoy going for walks on the paths around my home, checking out the nearby trails, practicing obedience, playing with puzzle toys, going to the dog park or hiking (if you're comfortable with it) and playing with my own pups.

PLEASE READ ENTIRE PROFILE BEOFRE BOOKING I have 3 dogs, all of whom have obedience training. They can be a little much at first (training is always a work in progress) but love people and other dogs. I volunteered as a trainer for a service dog training program, and have cared for animals since I was a child. I also work with horses, so I am very comfortable working with any and all animals. We frequent the dog park, enjoy hiking, and are more than happy to bring your pup with us if you're comfortable! I crate trained all of my dogs, so I am easily able to crate your dog if needed. I am very flexible and committed to providing your pup with care that you are comfortable and happy with.

Samantha has three dogs of her own but clearly loves dealing with other people's pets as well. Our dog Ruthie clearly had a fine time while in Samantha's care. Ruthie in particular loved playing with one of Samantha's dogs. Highly recommended if you have a very active (like we do) dog
