Your dog’s next countryside retreat awaits!
We provide a relaxed, caring and safe environment for your dog(s). Our home is a farmhouse in Stanton-by-Bridge, in the countryside with lovely walks on the doorstep over fields and in woods. We have an adorable miniature labradoodle called Eddie who is 12 years old. Eddie has a lovely temperament and would welcome some new furry friends with open paws! 🐾. We encourage arranging a ‘meet and greet’ opportunity before you confirm the booking to ensure your dog is happy and comfortable. Please contact us to arrange a mutually convenient date and time.

Sam is fabulous and was very genuinely interested in finding out as much about Monty as possible. We had lots of photos and updates and Monty has had the best time. Thank you ☺️
Wonderful, friendly and caring sitter. Regular photo and video updates. Our dog needed the vets whilst we were aware and Samantha took care of everything. Would highly recommend.
Our first time boarding Woody and we were very nervous about leaving him but we needn't have worried at all. I think he had a better break than we did!! Loads of updates (written and photos) about everywhere he visited with Sam and family. Sam will be our first port of call in future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anybody.
Perfect from start to finish. We arranged an intro meeting for the dogs (and us!) prior to booking. Chester had a lovely stay and would highly recommend to everyone.
We left Winnie with Samantha and were slightly apprehensive as Winnie had never stayed with anyone else for more than a few hours. We needn’t have worried. Samantha and Campbell were both absolutely fantastic with Winnie, full of care and attention. Eddie, their dog, was so relaxed and accepting of Winnie. They seemed to get on very well. Plenty of photos, videos and updates were also really nice. Winnie always seemed so happy to be there and we will definitely have no hesitation in taking Winnie to Samantha again. In fact we’ve already booked another stay. Very highly recommended. Thank you

Schedule
One or both of us is at home every day and if we do go out, your pet will not be unattended for more than 2-4 hours at a time.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced garden and a very large kitchen. We’re completely flexible with regards to allowing your dog on the furniture - whatever it takes for them to feel at home, safe and happy.

A typical day
A typical week day involves a walk first thing in the morning over nearby fields in the village, throwing a ball in the garden for extra fun/exercise and evening walk in the village (in the winter months) or nearby Calke Abbey or local reservoir in the lighter nights.
