I am a former public school counselor who has left the field to commit to pet care full time. I am passionate about animals. I have experience with rescue animals young and old. I work well with nervous or anxious rescue dogs of all ages, cats as well. I spend most of my free time with my dog and cat. I grew up with dogs, cats and a bird. I have worked with puppies, kittens, and elderly animals with specific physical and behavioral needs. I look forward to working with your furry friends.

Sam was so amazing with my girls, if I could leave more than 5 stars I would! She is timely, accommodated all normal routines, does well with my older dog who needs extra care and medications, and sent me so many updates it truly felt like my babies were in the best care! If anyone is like me who is normally anxious leaving their pets with someone new or unfamiliar, fear not! Sam will give your babies plenty of love and attention and it will show! I can’t even being to express my gratitude! Highly recommend!
Sam was AMAZING!! My cat doesn’t warm up to anyone quickly and Sam had her cuddling in no time. Communicative, caring, lots of photos/videos so I knew my baby was well taken care of. So grateful! Highest recommendation!!
Sam was absolutely amazing with our little high maintenance Diva Sarah. Sarah has separation anxiety, and nearly blind, when left with a stranger she can be a bit barky. Sam was so patient and gentle with her. The first couple days were rough but Sam never complained. She loved her through her anxiety and became friends. Sam as well took her in on short notice due to another Rover gal pulling out of Rover unexpectedly. By the time we came back to pick her up, Sarah was so comfortable and cozy in Sam's home. Sam kept us well informed during her whole stay. Sam definitely goes above and beyond out of true love for every animal that goes to her home.
Can’t rave about Sam enough! She was able to come feed my kitties last minute when someone cancelled day of. She sent pictures and videos so I was able to relax and know my girls were taken care of!
