I started pet sitting after chronic pain and fatigue made it impossible for me to continue working at my previous job. This means that I have ample time to spend with the animals I'm taking care of, as I'm typically at home most or all of the day. I'm able to care for pets any day of the week, and I schedule meetings with pet owners Monday through Saturday.

Information Samantha F. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pet has any special needs or behaviors that need attention or should be managed in some way. This could include special dietary or exercise needs, problem behaviors such as scratching furniture, or safety concerns like aggression toward people or other animals. Quality care and safety are my top priority, so I will do my best to manage any concerns.
A typical day
I like to spend time getting to know the animals I'm caring for. Some of them love to be active and play and some are more low energy. If a pet enjoys playing, I will typically spend time playing with them, whether it's tug-of-war, running around the house, fetch, or just talking to them and letting them soak up that attention. Some pets don't like to play, but can still be provided with stimulating activities. I've found that shy cats can sometimes be entertained by leaving treats out for them in various places around the house, so they can enjoy hunting for special treats.

Pet care experience
I grew up with cats from the time I was 6 years old. I love animals of all kinds and have taken care of cats, dogs, birds, guinea pigs, and more. I have a calm and quiet temperament and I've been told that animals warm up to me quickly. I have years of experience taking care of pets in their own home while their owners are away. This is good for them, because pets are usually more comfortable staying in their own home, where they can enjoy the scent of their owners, the familiar setting and routine, their toys, and their favorite sleeping spots. Home is where they feel safe and secure.

Very attentive to my fur babies. Will definitely use Samantha again!
Samantha was an excellent house/pet sitter. She took good care of our cat while we were gone and let us know how she was doing. We would highly recommend her!
