I currently work full-time at a clinic but if I will not be staying at your house, I can check in before and after my shifts. If you are close enough to work I can drop in at lunch as well. I have 3 days off per week including Saturdays and Sundays. On these days I can dedicate more time to your pets needs.

I am happy to work with your pets regular routine as best as possible. I like to join you on a walk with your pet when I meet them for the first time to understand their behaviour on walks and how I can keep our time together safe and fun. I would also request to see your backyard if it is a place where you will let your pets out. I will want to know where gates are to ensure the yard is always fully secured. Doing a walk around together can ensure there aren't any new places your pet can get out of the yard that may not have been there before.

A typical day
A typical day with your pup involves mental and physical activities! Whatever it is that they enjoy the most. Neighborhood walk or forest walk. Practicing tricks. Finding special toys or treats hidden in the house or yard. I don't feel comfortable with off leash activity or dog parks. This has more to do with other peoples pets. I would hate to have any incidents while they are in my care.

Pet care experience
I was responsible for the needs of horses and the dogs and cats who lived with them since the age of 10. I spent my weekends working with horses and loved every aspect of keeping them happy and healthy. Animal care has been my life ever since and this lead me down my career path of becoming a registered veterinary technician. Since becoming a veterinary professional, I have gained experience with all kinds of dogs and cats in general practice, exotic animals and pocket pets, and emergency medicine. I have gained 10 years of experience in the field since graduating in 2013. I love to switch things up from working in the clinic by seeing pets in their homes, and helping clients feel confident that their pets are in great hands when they can't be there for them.
