I am comfortable with any size and breed as long as they are sweet and good with children if need to stay in my home. I have a small yard but it's fenced in and there is a lake and paths to walk right across the street from my home.

I will need to know if your dog has any special needs, likes or dislikes. Also I have two small children so will need to know how they interact with kids. Please bring food, treats, leash or harness, and dog bed if they normally use one. Also if dog uses crate at home please let me know and anything else that will make your pup more comfortable!
A typical day
My family goes for daily walks so if your pup is up to it they will be joining! We have a quiet neighborhood behind our street and also walking paths across the street. Older or slower moving dogs can still get outside in our fenced in backyard.

Pet care experience
I have had pets my entire life and for the fist time find myself pet free. When we lost our dog of 14 years I decided to fill that void with pet sitting. I have had dogs, cats, birds, fish, hamsters, and a bunny. I am comfortable with any size and breed as long as they are sweet and good with children (if boarding). I have experience with elderly dogs & dogs who need medication.
Reviews
Caution: the house has tiny toys, small balls, and pieces of food on the floor that could be hazardous for your pet. Family is very friendly, but if your pet puts things in their mouth, you may not want to choose this sitter. Also, my dogs crate came home with poop on it when my dog never goes to the bathroom in his crate so his schedule must not have been followed.

Samantha is great - it is so nice to know April is safe in a home if we need to go away.
Samantha did a great job taking care of our dog during a last minute family manner. She provided feedback during our dog's visit and would recommend her for any future requests.
