We met years ago! Sam was of great help when I found a dog off the side of the road that was in bad shape. I named her Stella. She was the sweetest girl but had a horrific love for biting. It was the first dog I'd ever had back then so I was at a loss. When I met Sam I mentioned my struggles and that is how I found the solution to my problem! No more biting, just occasional nibbles that didn't hurt. She also got a lot calmer and got in a healthy shape. She started barking a lot, a vocal gal, and it was the most beautiful sound. I miss her greatly but I had to leave the country and couldn't put her through that trip. She wasn't fond of trips at all. I gave her to a close friend of mine and gave him Sam's number so she'd have someone familiar and loving to rely on even if I couldn't be there anymore. One of the best people I know! And definitely my top choice when it comes to pet sitting.

I got introduced to Sam through a mutual friend, Rumen. He had a dog named Stella, a mutt he rescued off the street about seven years or eight ago or so, that he was struggling to train to not bite and jump on people. She was very high energy and very rough when playing, and when scared got aggressive. He met Sam, who ended up helping immensely with training and dog sitting when Rumen had to go to work or errands. Eventually, Rumen had to leave the US and go back to his home country. At that point I had known him for a few years and we were close friends. I offered to take Stella in, as she hated travelling and got awful motion sickness and anxiety whenever she did. He gave me Sam's number in case I ever needed to call to have someone care for her for a few days due to my job having me work out of town often. Sam was a huge help, especially when I briefly fostered a few weeks old kitten by the name of August who I found on the side of the road, blind and full of fleas and parasites. August needed to be watched over full-time, but because of a demanding project at my job I couldn't do that. Thanks to Sam, August healed perfectly fine and is now in the loving and safe home of a friend of mine.
