*In honor of Lady 2012-2025* For 11 years I took care of my mobility impaired German Shepherd who loved to play and currently have a young dog ready to make new friends. I have taken care of dogs and other animals since I was young. I have experience taking care of alpacas, cats, dogs, ferrets, bunnies, and birds. I do not live alone so your pets will always have company even when I am out and about. If boarding is needed that can be negotiated as long as your pet is dog friendly since I do own my own dog and I would hate to stress out your pet/my dog unnecessarily. I also require that your pet(s) be up to date on all vaccinations and flea and tick treatment. As I cannot take a chance of my baby's or others health if not vaccinated. I have a large backyard that is big enough for dogs to comfortably run around. If walks are needed I have a dog friendly neighborhood with lots of spots for you dog to stop and relax. I also have a dog room for dogs who are not crate trained and are a little mischievous when not supervised (like stepping out for errands). If your dog is crate trained but you are unable to bring your crate I do have some extras I can use. I encourage dogs that are crate trained to bring their own crate, but dogs are not required to be in crates as long as they can behave outside of one. Dogs are welcome on couches since they all have couch covers if your dogs prefer couches better. I have a plethora of different kinds of treats your dog can enjoy but I encourage owners to bring their own treats for their dog in case your dog is on a special diet. I have extra bowls and toys your dog can use but if the owner would like to bring their own that's fine too! I love spending time with animals and would love to get to know yours!

What a great sitter! Samantha did a wonderful job with my very large, active dog. She sent us pictures every day and it was obvious he had a terrific time while he was with her. We will definitely use her again!

Samantha took excellent care of our cat while we were out of town. She provided daily drop-in visits and was timely and provided great feedback on how our cat was doing. She went above and beyond by helping with a couple of issues that came up at our house. We highly recommend Samantha and would definitely book again!

Schedule
I am currently working full time not far from my house and I come home for an hour lunch break. My retired mother looks after the dogs while I am away at work and let's them out about every 2 hours for potty breaks so your pet will hardly ever be alone unless she has some errands or events she needs to attend to. I am available for drop-ins after 5pm on weekdays. I occasionally work mornings on the weekends but not often so I am free to spend time with your pet or provide drop-ins.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and lots of bushes for your pets to sniff around. If there are multiple boarders during the same time frame I always let you know before hand just in case you are not comfortable with it and need to make other arrangements. I only ever board dogs together that I am comfortable will get along and if for whatever reason they don't I am able to rotate them around to make sure all animals can get equal time outside and people time. I do not board male and female dogs that are not fixed together during the same time frame just to make sure there aren't any accidents. Also all boarders are required to provide proof of up to date vaccinations so that your pet is safe.
Pets
A typical day
Will have mandatory play time and walks around my neighborhood :) Will have plenty of wrestle, ball, and or tuggle war time. Will also have plenty of time for much needed dog naps.
