I am a mid-30s, self-employed proofreader based out of Lowell, MA. I have gotten along with animals since I was a young child. People ask me what the secret is, and it's simply consent. I never touch an animal that hasn't been given the chance to trust me (except in an emergency). I let the dog or cat come to me first. I love pets of all kinds - furry, scaly, any size. I'm available for housesitting for up to 3 days at a time.

I pay great attention to details and will follow your routine to the letter. I'm happy to measure out food and/or medicine. I love play and cuddle time and will probably spend longer than you expect just sitting with your dog or cat and keeping them company.

Samantha was fantastic in taking the extra steps needed to make my anxious dog comfortable. Willing to do several meet and greets before their first walk together and always letting him take the lead and tell her what he was comfortable with and moving at his pace.
Samantha was so great! The first time leaving a recently diagnosed cat with diabetes and she made me feel comfortable. She was a great communicator and sent pictures. She was so kind and patient with my finicky cats. I look forward to having her back again!

Samantha had been our go to cat sitter for many years. She is reliable and communicates with us when we are away. Plus our cats adore her. She takes them for walks (they are indoor cats with leashes), makes sure they get plenty of love and cuddles, and we trust her completely with our babies.
Samantha is and has always been a true animal lover. Additionally, she is very detail oriented, loving and responsible. Your pet will be in the best possible hands with Samantha as its caregiver.

Schedule
I work from home for myself, so my routine is very flexible. I can work from my home or yours. I am available for walks and check-ins any time after a work day starts. I'm available for overnights for up to three days at a time.
